That being said, I don't actually think it's that big of a deal that she can do that unless the rest of your team got really fucked up by the rest of their team because Hector takes so long to get around the map that by the time he gets to your team you should be able to gang up on him 4v1 most of the time.

This is probably because of her Reposition ability. She has utility in a team with a heavy in it since she can help move it around quicker. The problem is Selena is almost worthless in actual combat. She's okay against armored greens but struggles against regular ones and is really poor against reds and don't expect her to even deal damage against greys. I lost actual battles because Selena was the last survivor and would deal 2x0 against a generic healer.
