King's Fall is an unfun stressfest for 95% of teams, so no. I'm good at it, but I can't always say the same for whoever I'm playing with. The requirements in mechanics, positioning, communication and coordination are quite unforgiving, your team has to know what they're doing. If you breathe the wrong way at Oryx, it's a wipe.

Is Aksis Challenge not highly reliant on mechanics? Granted, it's only one part of the raid, but still. Or Phase 1 with the bomb "puzzle". I've had more people not know how to do Bombs than I've ever encountered be unable to run Sisters.

King's Fall just requires an anchor to coach novice players through.

Bring a dedicated Nighthawker.

Wrath is certainly easier than King's Fall, but it's also a little less challenging because you can have potentially 3 weak links and still be fine 7 times out of 10 with even a PuG.

KF requires more people to actually know what they're doing, but people being stupid is not a fault of the raid.

Sure, but it does make the raid more stressful and less fun outside of experienced groups. It doesn't help that it's not only the most unforgiving raid, but also the longest raid. 2 bosses, 2 puzzles, 4 platforming challenges and a maze later and you still have about 20 minutes left, assuming you don't wipe. It really just drags on.

Let's take a moment to really take in the deep lore and understanding in the Aksis encounter.

The entire room is in the shape of the Destiny symbol (Tricorn). The back, left and right areas make up the "Y" and Aksis' platform is the "0"

If you look at the environment of the area, you can see Fallen technology on the left and Warmind (Human) tech on the right. Aksis being in the middle symbolizes that he is the centerpiece or culmination of Fallen and Human technology being used together.

When you start the Phase 2 fight, Aksis and the structure holding him extends outward from a hole. This is similar to the Archon you fight after being raised by your Ghost, and it's similar to the Archon Rising you can find in the vanilla Cosmodrome when you choose a VIP Patrol mission; both Fallen bosses climb out of a hole in the wall.

If you spell Aksis backwards, you get Siska, which sounds awfully similar to Shiska, one of the first Bungie.net moderators.

No matter what they do people will still be able to do VoG and CE no problem.

judging by these answers I am going to assume that the game is still a treadmill where you endlessly do 1-6 different strikes for bad to completely useless loot and do the 1 raid once a week and pray that the items roll at a high level and if they don't you just trash them and get back on said treadmill

then you get weapons from some source and pray that they roll with the proper afixes and if they don't trash them and get back on the treadmill only to realize at some point that it is all just crappy artificial content that is completely empty

the story is still non-existent. The content is recycled repetitive nonsense and never adequately rewards you for doing it

PvP is a mess that is dominated by very specific weapons or very specific weapon types and class balance is thrown out the window with 1 class being far more dominant than the others.

The only morsels of content you get between yearly content releases are shitty gimmick events that bungie puts out like racing or some other garbage but not actually real content, more like something that an intern could have put together in 15 min and kicked it out the door.

Outside of the shit pvp you're wrong, after the first SRL Bungie created the April Update which fixed infusion and made many great changes to the game and added more options for high end gear, By Rise of Iron we received custom pvp matches including SRL, almost everything in the game gives you high end gear, made items on par with exotics, actually enjoyable raid, cosmetics galore that are easily obtained without paying unless you want more including gear skins for exotics and emotes, a brand new social and patrol area on Earth along with an enjoyable public event area. Destiny is a puzzle that adds pieces over time, the picture is almost complete with the most recent news of bringing back old raids and adding new items, cosmetics to help add spunk to the gear, and more.

Actually, Hive are more an amalgamation of Necrons, Tyranids, and Chaos. Necrons for the tech and general style, being an unstoppable, undying ancient force of nature. Tyranids is obvious, the appearance and biology. Vex are Necrons and Eldar. Necrons is only the Vex being highly advanced machines. Eldar is for their mythological style and their MO and the pursuit of it. Technically speaking, you can punch/stab really fast, but what augments it recharges.

Melting Point and War Machine force barrier are some of the best abilities in the game. The first can be a 30 second recharge enemy debuff, perfect for yellow bars. The second lets you burn bosses rediculously fast.

I know that wouldn't cut all OHKs but it would certainly cut down the majority of them. Supers in particular annoy me because they are so easy to use and there usually isn't counterplay. Snipers I dislike because they encourage camping behavior.

I think a few OHKs is fine (or at least I know people would throw a fit if they were all removed) but there are way too many in a game where your weapons otherwise have a pretty high TTK.
