ele is crazy aoe but a somewhat bland and weak caster
but it's cool in that once you get the 4piece there's lots of small ways to stretch out your damage a little with echo of elements to maximize the 20% damage bonus you get from crits by planning ahead and knowing when to sit on 0 lava bursts so you get a full free lava burst from a proc
ascendance and LR are what you'll be playing most the time though and they are somewhat specs as the stuff I mentioned above barely affects your dps
icefury is a bit more hectic and more mobile but basically a dps loss on almost every fight unless you're very well geared for it and good at it

enhance is a mix of old-fashioned enhance where you have quite a few spells and you need to hit them on cd or old-fashioned survival hunter lock'n'load procs depending on your talents
also crash lightning is an incredibly satisfying spell
