If you put years of time into Diablo 2 I highly recommend Path of Exile. I did the same, and love it. If you've tried it before and hated it, give it another go. It recently changed a lot for the better, and there's a massive expansion coming soon-ish.
Either way there's no real point coming in here and dismissing WoW based on your first 10 minutes of gameplay. Like, I get that it's meant to sell you on the game, but honestly it doesn't do that very well. Most of the interesting shit is either derived from appreciation of the story/gameplay, or endgame.
