you can pull mobs with pets through walls pretty easily, saved me a lot of time in caves when i couldn't be fucked to clear everything. Just /tar what you need, send the pet in, and repeat /petattack /petfollow as it gets closer

I don't know if it works in dungeons as well, but pathing for pets is completely stock, you can grab any mob you want through any terrain. Pets will straight up run through walls. Don't know if this is unique to hunters or if warlocks experienced similar things

Kara has clearly been reduced from Corecraft values they had implemented verbatim on the test server but it was respectable. Pre-nerf mechanics weren't really implemented (skeletons on Nightbane have immolation aura but flight phase ability targeting is post-2.1 etc) but numbers are at least on-par with retail values.

Normals are just all over the place because Koostosh apparently didn't implement the exact values from World of Warcraft: Bestiary he was provided (although they're not supposed to be particularly though, just not WotLK-like). Test server had Corecraft's values (ie. "correct" ones, definitely no custom tuning besides error in inferring the pre-nerf state of the dungeons from incomplete pre-2.1 evidence) for Hellfire and Coilfang instances but I don't know if the devs decided to nerf those correct values because Kara might have had custom tuning. I don't know about other heroics or T5 raids because correct values were never implemented during the testing and I haven't done heroics on new HG. But if they have been, they are respectable (hell, if some of the issues on normal like multiple mobs pulling or other similar issues carry over, something like Arca might be near-impossible)

I have enough for essential skills but it's doing nothing for mounts, and there's no reason for x2 loot to exist as long as it has anyway when there are already a large number of people in outland; They're the only ones that are getting any noticable benefit from this anyway, but would not have a single problem at 1x rates with the kind of gold you get there. It does nothing to improve the leveling experience and does everything to sabotage the markets with hoarded twink blues.

On one hand, I want to think the server would be well scripted because he's been working on it for quite some time (although this means nothing frankly because he'll shut it down in 2 weeks). You're both severely over estimating the capability of HG devs + the workability of Mangos - especially for TBC which it was never designed for.

This server was never going to be good simply because it relies on an uplifted, bootleg core not even suited for this version of the game.

Until the 2.4.3 emulation scene develops their own Trinity/Ascent/Mangos the realms will always be this bad.

They also need non-Eastern European developers as well.

Basically, the 2.4.3 emulation scene is still stuck in 2011 while 1.12 and 3.3.5 have advanced quality wise

ya I dunno what happened HG used to actually be decent. Leveling and doing 5 mans so far has been a laughing stock of flying mobs, laughable dmg from elites - ESPECIALLY MELEE - and missing abilities/pathing issues. beta tester here, he's anywhere between 1-3 months away from release. Most questing is done(I've done well over 300 quests in outland and the 10 or so I couldn't finish or start have since been fixed and the only ones with issues left are very minor issues) but raids(t5 and t6) and some heroics still need some tuning. I don't want to neet myself out on HG only to have gummycraft release in a few months. It probably won't have the same pop as HG but I'm an oldschool wpsg fag and I'm used to ~1000 server pops. Scripting > population so long as there's more than 500 on each faction imo
