The issue with tank armor is always how much damage are you losing in exchange for the damage reduction? Going from Bandos to Torva can be felt just because of the armor, the damage reduction is noticeable. Same thing going from Torva to Malv, so how big of a difference would it be going from Bandos to say Superior Tetsu?

Tank armor vs power armor is one of the biggest points of sperging out in this thread.

Power armor is better for when you know a boss, tank armor is better for learning. There are many people who will argue this point. They somehow take it that by saying tank armor is appropriate sometimes at all means that power armor should never be used.

Jamflex have really trivialized a lot of skills. It's mostly stemming from mobs dropping absurd amounts of raw materials. Everything needs a heavy balance pass if you want people to get back into the more 'simple' areas of the game and make them profitable again.

In LRC you should already have the golden mining suit, lava titans and perfect mining juju potions. All while getting golem suit fragments to keep you motivated. There's a rock in the northwest where monsters never even come close to so you can just mine there and world hop, really afk. Plus there's warbands if you want.

At 89 you get seren stones, then later on you get arc mining, too afk. If my impatient ass got 99 mining before every other non-combat skill besides herblore, then it can't be that bad.

Mining blows ass because higher level ores like Adamant and Rune take forever to respawn, reducing xp rates substantially and thus making LRC the best place to mine until Seren Stones. It doesn't help that Smithing is just as obsolete.

Don't bother hops, they're useless.

Allotment crops are helpful for growing things to pay farmers with.

Tree patches are probably the quickest way to get xp. However you need to pay off each farmer to look after them, and iirc Willows are the cheapest because not only are the seeds easy to get but apples can be bought cheaply from the Culo chest in Lumbridge cellar if you don't want to grow them.

Herbs and fruit trees are great money (even oranges sell for over 500gp, which is decent until you can do papayas).

Falador Shield (when worn) gives a 10% boost to xp gained when harvesting the Port Sarim farm which is good for herbs. Wildy Sword 3/4 will teleport you to the Wildy herb patch once a day (though more importantly when you unlock it the patch will never become diseased). If you're feeling gutsy the demonic skull gives a farming xp bonus from picking herbs there iirc.

This won't really speed it up, but will help a little bit.

Hunter speeds up dramatically at 77 and is fast enough that being click intensive doesn't matter so much. Agility stays slow forever, but at least now there is a method to train it at near max xp rates and without even paying attention or looking at the screen.

The worst skill has to be something that is largely useless AND horribly slow AND click intensive. That means it has to be RC, thieving before 91/92, solo or Ironman dungeoneering, mining before 89, or farming without warbands.

The only bosses I do are Telos (not applicable), Araxxor (~6 min range kills vs ~5:30 melee kills at the inc risk of getting wrecked at high enrage, not worth), Vindicta (1:10 kills maging w/ vulnerability vs 1:25 kills with scythe). I get it, you can apply Quake debuffs and switch to dw for assault + destroy, but only mega autists try this hard.

Yes, this is mostly due to the fact you can just recharge at altar every 10 minutes. Honestly though there were a couple times where I was cutting it a bit close, but I just turn off anguish and only SS to kill the minions to save some prayer and it works fine.

I was also using hand cannon and armadyl for invention purpose so if you got better gear than that then you are fine.

Question on twin furies, I am slowly improving my kill times but I am running into an issue where I am killing it too fast that my replenishment potion is not off cd before the second kill by about 10 seconds or so. So my first kill would be pretty fast and then second kill without replenishment almost always extend by 10-20 seconds because I couldn't squeeze in another quake/hurricane.

How do you guys normally deal with this? I imagine if I had a scythe and better items I can probably just kill them without replenishment before the explosion but I don't have those things yet.
