The leveling isn't really noticably faster less you could get into kumas games which are dead now that the hype of the new server has worn off. Only neat thing is super easy enchant rates, constant URF mode and dungeons dropping some outfits.

So I've recently started playing and I'm a lvl 32 Mystic, I've noticed my damage dealing abilities are absolutely pathetic in comparison to the people I play dungeons with who are even lower level than I am? I mean I expected to not be able to wipe HP bars off bosses being a support class but it's like even with trash mobs I do basically nothing to them. I've been upgrading my gear at every opportunity and I instakill enemies out in the main world who are at the same level, but enemies in dungeons seem impossible to damage for me. What's going on?

the less fun answer is maybe occasionally but that isn't nearly as prevalent in tera and hasn't become part of dungeon culture, they'd probably just ask you to try not to do it again but you're more likely to run into a tank who is the idiot instead

It can fuck up the tank's DPS depending on where the thrall is coming from. Lancers rely a lot on Shield Counter for their damage and Brawlers need to block perfectly to keep their Growing Fury up. If the thrall is coming from behind, the tank needs to reposition and thus the rest of the party as well for no good reason as the thrall does nothing worthwhile. You don't want to reposition every few seconds.

Shield Counter has a high crit chance and damage at a low cooldown and has a fast animation. You have to block anyway. It plays a big role in a Lancer's DPS. Of course Spring Attack is their hardest hitting skill, but I'd say that Shield Counter comes up right after that followed by Wallop and Onslaught in terms of priority.

Wallop and Onslaught are on the same priority tier, you just have to know when to use them. You want to use Wallop when you know that the boss is going to attack you so that you block their attack with it and Onslaught when you know that they won't attack in the next few seconds so that you don't have to cancel it since the last three hits of Onslaught deal the most damage.
You always want to keep three stacks of Debilitate on the enemy as that increases the DPS of your entire party.
Also, of course blocking is still your number one priority and you want to block every attack if possible, what I was talking about earlier was the priority of damage skills.

If you're a low leveled dps mystic, wear savage-bitter-backbiting-forceful (substitute with pounding if you can't find one of the crystals, but try to have all four crystals) for normal mobs, use both glyphs of metamorphic blast, use thrall of protection as lure and circle around so the mobs are in one nice pile, order the thrall to target the last non-aggroed mob, and spam the shit out of meta blast behind that pile of mobs for huge backcrit damage. For bosses, use savage-bitter-focused-forceful.

If you're in a party, let your tank do the tanking and put away that thrall of protection by summoning thrall of life. If you're not low on health, it's not a deadly attack, or something that would cause issues later like puddle placement, then getting hit is fine. For example, dakuryon's pizza mechanic, its better to just tank through it while getting healed so you can keep him mechanic-locked. Obviously this is assuming you have a competent healer.

So I am a returning player and used to play in the p2p era but didn't touch the game at all since then, until a week+ ago. I just got to 65 two days ago and completed all the red quests I could, got Idoneal, then Slaughter, and I managed to +12 it all with decent stats and I am now sitting at i411. I also got my Guile weapon with Intercede tokens from doing daily shit. Are the 3-star i410 dungeons facerollable through the instance matching, or what should I do next?

Level 410 is easy enough to carry by 1-2 person who knows what they're doing. Kaprima is easiest, SSNM maybe hardest.
Lilith's is quite fun and mechanics are apparent. Don't stand in fire, puddles or red circles and you'll do fine.
Slaughter gear is fine for those and if you know your rotation and have right crystals and accessories you'll do fine.

No, SSN's easiest. It goes LK > VoK = SSN in terms of difficulty. Dakyuron can literally be killed with macros, since you can lock him in his pizza phases by doing enough damage, and just letting the healer keep up with the heals. SSN got hella nerfed in terms of difficulty.

Well, he was talking about insta matching. If you can't trust your healer you have to dodge pizzas. And it's actually very hard to see safe slices if you're new to dungeon.

Last boss can be very tricky if party doesn't know to kill mobs, or fails cage phase. Or doesn't have dps to kill shield.

This IS true. If your healer doesn't know how to plague/regress second guy, or doesn't know how to dodge Kaprima's iframe, or doesn't know what to do with candle wax, or flame puddles, you're FUCKED. In SSN, if you get swiped? You're not dead, keep going. Hit a slice? Not dead, keep going. Nothing really instakills you in SSN. I think the only time I've gotten 1 hit in new SSN is when I was healing and wasn't paying attention.
