He's just a laning machine. Clear wave after wave and watch cannons run out of ammo in a minute. He's highly gankable so map awareness is needed. If stealthers aren't showing on map, do not bother venturing out too far.

Outside of that, use root to help set up your team for things like Li-Ming/Kerrigan combos, or even just Diablo ults. Outside of abilities, he's melee, but most games I'm hardly ever meleeing in team fights. Don't bother meleeing unless it's a low damage skirmish and you can afford it.

If there's a big enough gap (so they don't just die to residual aoe), jam Skellie Mages in the middle of their team to split their front/back lines in team fights. It's also a low-ish cooldown so be frivolous with it.

But his main point is to be a wall destroying, tower depleting, if-you-leave-him-alone-you-lose type hero.

Mow down creeps, soak all the exp, mow down towers and walls when people leave your lane for 10 seconds.

Xul destroys a minion wave, then goes to the next lane and does the same thing, then goes back and does it again, and keeps rotating and clearing waves for that sweet sweet XP while the rest of your team worries about teamfighting.
His TF potential is pretty shit aside from the occasional set-up and possibly getting his debuffs or skeletal mages up, so his main purpose is to make sure your team is always at least 1 talent tier ahead.

This is the reason I stopped playing. It was fun at first but the game was so unbalanced it's dumb.

I can't remember the source, (and it'd be old) it was that basically the first team to get their ultimates won ~53% of the time, and the winrate kept getting higher with level firsts to a point where it was like ~85%+ at the ultimate upgrade. Typically once you fell behind there was no point in playing. Add in randomized teams that made many matches losses from the get-go and there was no point in playing.

Plus they kept adding champs that countered my favorite hero (Sgt. Hammer). :c

If you're in bronze you'll be sad to see bronze 5's on your team and silvers on the enemy team.

WHY IS THIS SUCH A HARD CONCEPT TO UNDERSTAND

Fucking lost a game because we were at 19/20 because teammates took the last 6 coins I farmed and fed them to the enemy so we couldn't finish the final turn in before the enemy did.

God this game is fucking infuriating.

And then the teammates have the gall to bitch at me because I decided I didn't want my 17-coin ass to feed with them in a suicide dive behind a Johanna and Greymane. They just always fucking ditch me at the turn-in and then get mad when I hearth home because I'm at 1/4 HP from taking too many Li Ming pot shots to the face while trying to turn in.

I thought ranked was supposed to be (slightly) better than QM.
