So, is the only way to succeed at arena to draft a bunch of lower cost face cards with a pocket Kraken?

I swear on me mum every fucking time I draft a really good (arena good) deck with some synergy, board clears and a decent curve, I just get face slammed by Mages and Shamans and their faggot spells before they eventually drop a Kraken and I'm done for.

Starting to lose hope. Almost always 3 or 4 wins max to the point that I'd probably be better off just using the gold for packs.

I've started checking some of the value calculators when I draft arena decks to make the best choice, but I've actually ended up doing worse ever since I started doing so. I used to get 1-6 wins, now I barely break even.

Not sure what the fuck to do now. Every time I build a more early-game arena deck, I get matched with Mages/Shamans and they clear my shit. Every time I build a more late-game deck, I get face-slammed by more Shamans/Mages and they just sit there waiting for face spell draws as I finally take board control. Other times I just get out-value'd by either with sustain cards + clears.

Now that I think about it, just about every game is me vs. a Mage or Shaman, so maybe that's the problem. Everyone has Krakens though. Fuck that card. It rarely if ever shows up in my picks.

The only way that this Ungoro would slow down the meta would be to also introduce some fast/low cost cards that are excessively anti-aggro.

Control is dead until we get some kind of effective aggro hate. Slow cards just mean that you never see them because the game is over before they get played, without the ability to control the early game effectively it just doesn't work.

I would really like a card that had an effect like "Minions that cost less than (4) mana can't attack". You know, proper aggro hate stuff.

She's an Ironbark Protector, that restores your health to 40, for five mana. And "summoning" deathrattle minions for a Priest with access to cards like Kazakus, Onyx Bishop, and their own pool of deathrattles, won't be impossible.

Amara as a quest reward has be cautiously hopeful that they finally learned how to slow this shit down a tad. They had a good thing with WOG for a while, so SOMEONE there knows how to design control cards.

Just reached rank 5 in wild, I haven't tracked the entire season but between 10-5 I was facing Pirate Warrior about 60% of matches.

Reno Warlock in Wild does pretty good against it if you tech for it, which you should because the only slower deck in Wild you face is other Reno Locks and the occasional Shaman which is pretty easy to beat with N'Zoth Reno Lock.
