"New 3DS" have better specs like better CPU (but normally games dont utilize that at all and there is only one cart game that require N3DS - Xenoblade), little bigger screen, much improved 3D effect (thanks to camera, it wont gets broken the moment you move your head at bit) and additional, small stick (not very comfortable to use but at least you dont have to buy additional on your own) that gets VERY useful in games like Monster Hunter.

Recently I've come across a couple games like Spirit of Justice that sit forever on the 3DS loading screen when launched and never start. I'm running a9lh+luma(nightly updated about a week ago)+11.2. My first guess would be the firmware needs updating, though I hate doing that unless it's absolutely necessary(I'd also kind of expect the game to throw an error instead saying to update). I installed BotW onto a USB using mocha and played no problem for several days. I did notice that the game wanted to update once it officially launched, but I could just press "Start Software" and skip it.
Now I gave my wii u to a friend, and he showed me that he is not able to skip the update. Yesterday he reinstalled the update via WUPInstalled and played normally, but today the same thing happened.
Any tips? Disabling Wifi is a no-no since I need it to launch homebrew and mocha

Look, you can update games without too much hassle. All regions.

Make sure you are on Luma
Updated to 11.3
When the scrolling text banner shows advising game update, select update now.
Download the update.
Enter freestore and redownload any older update available. ( exit freestore after downloading old update) OR If none, redownload the same region game you had originally.
Exit free store.
Your out of region update downloaded directly from home screen will be now be applied to your out of region game.

I do this because it is FASTER than looking for packaged updates.

Decrypt the update like you did with the game, then merge the update folder to the game folder and overwrite everything. It's that simple.
Keep in mind that BotW 1.1 doesn't work on Cemu 1.7.3-1.7.3b, haven't tried with 1.7.3d but it might have the same problem.

For some reason this made me wanna buy a n3DS, I'm looking at them but I can't see any in any colors I like. It's all dark matt blues, white, or black.
