Just keep playing ranked, there's only one way to learn matchups and it's playing them. Copy pro players builds or challenger one tricks, runes and masteries included (see more than one person, they could have something set for a certain matchup). Force yourself to look more at the minimap when you're doing nothing (waiting for a wave, when going to lane, when there's some downtime), if you see the jungler ping him, if your enemy laner is missing ping it a lot, people are retarded and won't understand if you ping once, sometimes spamming ping when the enemy jungler appears on the map saves your top/mid/bot because he's told he was getting ganked 1-2 seconds before he would have normally noticed.

Also you can watch some coaches, I recommend watching ls coachs reckful he teaches lots of the basics in lane and jungle. That series of videos is like 5 or so hours but is quite educative.

The only thing I can say I do from all of these things you mentioned is spam my 'laner missing' ping a lot because it's a habit of mine.
