i didn't read any of the novel but i recalled that the name "fiona" also belonged to an axe/dagger in da2.
after finishing "in hushed whispers" and back at the skyhold, talked more with her, i knew something was fishy about it.
went to my da2 game and read the codex for fiona (the axe) and bard's honor (same model axe) and found that fiona (the person) was an inspiration to duncan and that king maric had an elven lover.
went to the wiki and read more about duncan, fiona, and maric and BAM! she was alistair's mom.

Depends what it is, but yup. A lot of recent indie games have pretty comfy OSTs that are very listenable neo-classical/electro/ambient/down-tempo. Almost any game OST by Austen Wintory is nice, like ABZU and Journey. I also use more atmospheric things like certain Skyrim/Ass Creed/Witcher songs for writing. I also have the Inquisition tavern songs saved because I listen to quite a lot of folksy stuff irl.

Spotify has a "gaming" music section which has quite a few OSTs in it, as well as playlists, etc.

I don't think that is true. You are probably concluding that based on why she leaves the Warden to do work for Justinia. The devs wanted Leliana to play a major role as a Spymaster in the sequel, and the Warden can't be brought back as an npc. If Leliana had gone with the Warden to find the cure to the calling, she wouldn't have made an appearance in the sequels.

Leliana's angst in DA:I stems from her crisis of faith, which is directly linked to Justinia. The warden represents mundane happiness and safety for Leliana, which is also important to her after she deals with all the spiritual issues, but her faith doesn't have anything to do with her love life. It's like how you wouldn't expect the warden to replace Flemeth in case of DA:I's Morrigan and her mommy issues.

EXACTLY. We legit could have had one of the best rpg's series's if they just made it so your warden did not die at the end of Origins. Imagine more games with the original companions. It's not that Warden was an amazing character but it's the fact that Bioware gave us the most freedom with him/her and let us truly define him. The companions in Origins were also fantastic and the relationships that we got were great, a lot of us don't like how it was all thrown away after one game due to a stupid decision at the end. Hawke and his companions come off as very stale in comparison with a lot more restriction to decisions and the romances/characters being boring. The inquisitor suffers from this even more so due to even worse companions and less freedom. And you're calling me a biodrone when I'm actually very much against Bioware now as they hardly even feel the same. Funny how a character with no voice still feels more alive than Hawke or the Inquisitor every did with their fucking awful, stale, emotionless voices.

Because oftentimes your character is able to access areas that other npcs normally wouldn't be able to due to enemies or some kind of reason. They can get up to a point and explore an area, kill shit, complete bridges or whatever the fuck there and then it opens it up for minions to gather the supplies for you.
