How do I increase the consistency of drawing one card while decreasing the consistency of drawing into another?

I hate drawing Invocation but I lose if I don't draw Aleister. Adding upstart makes me more likely to draw Aleister but also more likely to draw Invocation.
Stuffing my deck with more cards decreases the chances of drawing Invocation but also makes me less likely to draw Aleister.

I'm already running 3 Terraforming, 3 Magical Meltdown, and 3 Aleister. Is there anything else I could add?

I played Shinobird Power Spot with two cards left in my hand, none in the graveyard, no monsters on the field, and my opponent activated D-Barrier calling rituals. What i can inform you of is that higher starred warriors are harder to place on the battlefield. I can't decide if I want the stars to indicate that you need to tribute a certain amount of lower level warriors like in ygo, or if stars should be a spendable resource that you spend to place warriors on the battlefield.

Additionally, unlike in yugioh, the DEF stat would work more like an HP bar that you can dwindle down with multiple attacks to a high DEF target.

Links didn't make the game slower, they made it better for faster decks. You have to get rid of 2-3 monsters for a good link, that's already destroying a good portion of ED monsters you could have used. If you deck is slow at getting monsters out this only harms you more. I can see 41-50 card decks maybe becoming more and more common so you have Link fodder.

I have a question about this card, In the show Yuya used it to defeat Yuri when Yuri's Starving Venom Fusion Dragon's effect in the show destroys monsters when it's destroyed and then burns the controller of that monster times the original attack of that monster, shouldn't it of been a tie in that case. It went like this
