No, they specifically discussed that and the guy said "The only thing that you will lose if you deleted a character is the class page progression" So if you deleted a hunter for example, none of the hunter nodes would be unlockable because character progression is deleted, but everything else will apply retroactively. Just watch the stream again.

Most people didn't just randomize when building characters so refashion wouldn't be as much of an incentive as you think. Meanwhile unlocking content for D2 would be a good incentive to play, or to get the game for people that didn't play.

If you watch the stream they say it does, basically if you have a character that has a shit load of trials plays on it, you may not even have anything to do on that page when the book releases.
Flawless wins, wrecking ball, etc carries over.
The only thing that I could imagine not carrying over would be the trivial shit like "30 special kills, 25 revives" those are the only things on the page that when they hovered over them they didn't specifically say " don't worry shitters, if you got carried that one time, you don't have to do it again"

I think that if you upgraded before the Legacy/Current console gen split, you'll keep the progress. So in my case, I upgraded from 360 to One after TDB, but I still completed activities before TDB.

As long as you stayed in the same console family (PlayStation or Xbox) and upgraded, those past activities will count. Just to clear any sort of confusion.

They already have an external systems for tracking progression in place, And the only thing the book gives are emblems. They've already said legacy characters will unlock some shit in D2 so they even have that system set up. Literally all they'd have to do is make some D2 emblem shit or whatever that matches with age book unlocks.

No, you need to finish three quarters of the book to unlock all the rewards, so you can completely skip trials, raids, and most of the crucible stuff.

However if you absolutely must finish every node, then yes you'll need flawless. Its retroactive however.
