I mean, there's the grasping at sandbox systems with the allusion to having an economy, a 'living breathing dynamic world' but it uh, it just doesn't fuckin do that. Basically just never help out and convince the liege to declare war or make peace at bad times. I also bust out tons of lords from jail, which seems to make the AI think they can keep fighting losing conflicts even though their reserves are completely drained. At least that's my speculation, and it seems to be working as we've never made any progress in capturing anything this entire time, while losing a good chunk of castles.
I also married one of the most influential/high renown lords who owns one of the 3 remaining castles. He regularly patrols with a 212 man army.
In the mean time, busting out lords means most of the influential people really like me, and I've been running around doing lord quests like crazy. Hopefully most of the Rhodok lieges end up defecting once I break off.
I'm trying to find to see if I can find a way to scoop up one of the two remaining town before I rebel, but I might have to settle for re-taking Veluca.

Combat was shamelessly ripped off from at least a dozen other games, your character is stupidly overpowered so the game is mind numbingly easy until you stumble on a boss that has a bullshit unfair "fuck you" move, and the constant cinematic executions got absolutely jarring to watch since they break the flow of combat and happen constantly whenever you're fighting a horde of orcs which is all the time.

I got bored and stopped playing after I tried murdering every boss in a region just to see if I could. Succeeded eventually after which like 20 more of them popped out of nowhere and made the whole endeavor feel like a complete waste of time.

I don't think its possible in Warband, and I don't think Bannerlord will make it much easier. Very unlikely it will have a Skyrim tier moddability for skeletons and animations, or that it will have as dedicated modders.

Is it really unlikely? So far they've made it clear that they're putting a very heavy emphasis on moddability. The perspective of the whole ship is off. It's really got a "coming-at-the-viewer" look, which is completely different than the perspective of the majority of the landscape. It's placement inside the map itself among a lot of the landscape exaggerates it (if it was more to the map edge you could get away with it more).

It doesn't have to be top-down perspective or anything, but if it matched the general map perspective more it'd look a lot better.
