From the moveset that was leaked they appear to use more physical based attacks, similar to a martial artist. I'd say sorc is somewhat similar in that they use a gauntlet but they're more magic oriented in my opinion.

I feel that they could strike a good balance between the sorc's flowing non striking based attacks and a more striking oriented magic amplified martial artist punch. The berserker cannon is in my opinion a good example of this. They've got a good mix of cannon effects and black spirit/magic amplification effects.
