I'm wondering on how this is all setup without the council races being in communication with them at all. I'm guessing that we're going to be waking up into a mess, and the part of the plot of the game is to make everything, that is society, work again.

This game is currently being pitched as an exploration game, but I wonder if that's so. I'm guessing it's going to be more of a fix the world game, from a story point of view. Our character is going to wake up in to a dysfunctional society, and our main aim is make it functional again. Finding a habitable planet is only one of those goals.
