Also, Junkrats kept setting traps for Dvas, which left them open to Roadhog’s hook. In-game, that’s a good strategy, but here, I think it may have meant something else. I didn’t join voice chat.

It's still a gacha game which is basically gambling. Nintendo still does their best around that format by allowing you to pick the colors or you can leave the screen (and only waste 5 orbs.) Most phone games are all-or-nothing gambling desu.

From a team perspective, you are correct, though killing either of them relies on them playing bad.
Their air mobility allows them to skirt the edge of cover very efficiently, allowing them to drop out of sight to avoid death in numerous situations.
A good mercy/pharah duo will easily carry games, save for when they run into a good widow main.

Genji is one of the harder heroes to learn. Get the basics down before you start going nuts.

Learn Soldier 76, Reinhardt, and Mercy first. You'll be able to see how each role plays. Once you got that down you can move onto other shit.

Be a little patient with barrier, don't pop them so early that nobody fires at you or your barrier target at all. Like if you see someone running around a corner towards enemy fire, wait til they're getting shot at to E. It's a little nerve wracking but it makes a big difference.

I find I do best when I'm either in "full accelerate" mode or running and hiding to restore shields and abilities. Getting kills is about distance control, so you pretty much have to keep your finger on the W when chasing someone down, but be ready to quickly decide to full reverse and stomp away. That's the best time to use your M2, incidentally, when you have to break off the chase, but you might be able to finish them with a last shot. While your charge is low you should be fairly conservative, and go for longer presses once your big and scary. Ideally there's another tank, and you're both assisting him and using him for cover.

I've done so, quite a lot. Obviously it's more difficult when it's a full Pharmercy combo, as it should be if we're talking about a 1v2. I'd say I go about even in that case, if I'm the only one shooting them.

Ana was an essential part of the tank meta for two reasons:

The percent healing of ana grenade became a requirement to counteract the mercy nerf, and became just a great support pick to assist the other support. Not to mention the heal lockout that completely counters zenyatta's ult and the roadhog menace.

So these changes don't really address the core issue in tanks being entirely too durable with the percent healing buff, and as such the healing lockout being required to counter it.
The dive meta was in response to this ana priority, and was prevalent during the mercy days too.

My concern is that the Ana meta won't drop off, and a 3rd healer will be brought in to counter act the overall survivability nerf of ana. If two supports can't protect each other from divers, three should help right?
Tanks are also the best picks to deal with divers due to their cc potential, and running 3 heals will make 3 tanks a lot easier to run as well. Although bastion, 76, pharah will still probably be slotted in somewhere.

I'd nerf either her splash damage or her clip size. I can't tell you how annoying it is to clear the enemy team only to get rockets spammed in a choke or around the point, and our team is eliminated based purely on ground hits. This game is focused on very specific areas, be it the payload or the point, so even truly awful Pharahs can get kills simply by spamming them.

But I'd be happy with the clip reduction. 6 rockets is a little ridiculous considering she can 1-2 shot most of the heroes, especially the hitscan ones that can actually hit her. Even Junkrat only has four bombs that fly wild instead of a direct path.

In fact in general one of the best ways to learn how to counter Tracer is play her yourself. Blink always has a set distance and there's actually a bit of a tell which direction she went to, if you get a feel for that you can punish them really hard.

I'm really hopeful for Overwatch with these Ana nerfs, the PTR right now is the most fun I've had in Overwatch in ages. Orisa is really refreshing to play and not seeing Rein, Lucio, and Ana in every match is great. It's usually more of a peek battle, until I hit her with a solid burst, and then I follow up more aggressively when she's low.

Neither are correct. Her rockets are to deny area more than secure kills, and her flight height allows her to cover multiple areas at the same time, much better than any other hero too.
Her being the only airborne hero means she has the most unique and varied amount of positions she can cover.
All this added together means a good pharah should be able to outplay a soldier or mccree at most points in the game. This is just a result of the nature of her positioning.

She really won't be fixed until they release another air hero who can contest her in her own territory. Until then, there is no one they can buff to counter her, without totally destroying her viability as well.

This is a game of chess, where Pharah is the queen and you are trying to take her out with a single knight.
The teamwork required to deal with a good Pharah is in no way balanced considering what she is capable of.

A bobbing Pharah moves slower than almost anyone in the game, which is why I'll double down on saying if you can't hit her with one of the hitscan characters with no or minimal spread, you shouldn't play those characters, because you won't be hitting much else, either, except tanks and barriers, I guess.
