There isn't a lot of removal that can kill him on turn 3.
Only shadow can kill him without trouble with Soul Hunt or Deathbrand.
Every other class will either overkill him (Sadistic Night), waste a card that could be used better later (Salamander Breath) or just not kill him (Sylvan justice, Undying ressentment without 2 shadow, etc)
And he still has to compete with Shield Angel who can fuck over aggro and removal with 4 Defense.
He won't shit on aggro by himself but he has potential.
