I'm currently working on a Lord British deck as well, check pic related.

I opted to leave Gradius/Gradius Option out, mostly because I only have 1 Order to Charge, so it was way too inconsistent.

Are Gradius Option and Tailor of the Fickle working out for you? Because when I tested them, Option seemed kinda unreliable, and Tailor was kinda pointless, since most of the time I had equips on the right cards anyways.

Right now I'm farming for one extra Magnet Circle and Oilman to see if they work as an engine.

I'm tired of this fucking meme that Fish or Dino aren't good. They get beat out by a couple decks, yes, but those decks also require a ton of P2W cards to run correctly. Even Harpies without Relinquished requires Sarg Electro, Jerry Beans or other 1750+ beaters, and a solid spell/trap lineup.

I can confidently say like 95% of the playerbase does not have the cards needed to create the decks that would beat fish and dino consistently.

I changed my deck again to make it more control oriented, since I got no luck with a beatdown strategy. I think you added ladybug to counter dinos and Weevil, like I did.
I still have some trouble with Makofags, I only get around them if I have Kuriboh/Etaqua/Econ. I tried running Javelins for funsies so I could get free 7 Completes, but it wasn't that great.

Trying to create a good trap deck before royal decree is released and without traptrix it's a pain. So far I've got a skeleton deck I know what I want it to do but I haven't implemented it yet any ideas on what to change and what not? I know that another wild tornado is needed and another dark coffin which I'm working to get,not sure if chain reaction is best of bluff trap but the monsters are what I'm also focused on, I was thinking of putting 2 shallow graves and letting warm wurm and reaver do their thing but not sure if it fits with the deck idea.

Conscription isn't a great card for mill decks anyway - it's a 1 for 1 and the main problem in mill decks is running out of cards in your hand before getting through the opponent's deck. The only definite inclusions in the deck are 3 Warm Worm and 3 Regretful Rebirth
This was my latest attempt at one because I had the cards anyway but it's far from optimal I reckon
The deck is decent but once you get to higher ranks it just isn't consistent enough (although tbf I haven't tried it very much at all myself competitively but I hardly came across any in 7*+ KC cup and I played a lot) and against Relinquished there's very little you do

Honestly I would recommend tragedy instead of Blast by tribute. It accomplishes what you want and you are in the one able to cause its trigger with Kuriboh/Ecom/ and windstorm for a board clear. Probably put in 2 instead of having Blast and Cup of Aces.
Then you can use stuff like half shut for stall instead of just relying on cocoons, probably replace then with skelengels or something so you can thin out your deck more while also getting a blocker so you can draw the crucial cards you need to mill them out.

The most common deck you are going to run into is Dino so you have to think of what Dino can accomplish and how to stop that while playing your own gameplan. With the above changes in mind, the biggest weakness against Dinos is an element Saurus, it has the ability to completely shut your gameplan down. Tragedy can help that in combination with Kuriboh/Ecom/etc which allows you to pick them off, shallow grave allows them to bring them back. So essentially you have 2 answers for 4 Element Saurus.
Another solution that could help against Element Saurus would be Chain of Destruction. This can be used to remove 2 at once, leaving only 1 on the field. This means you have just enough answers to deal with all possible Element Saurus.

a good situation sometimes if you have it in hand would be like: say you have metalmorph and set it, one turn you might set lord british or gradius and tank a hit, next turn you pop in a falchion and buzz off the enemy with metalmorph, pulling in a downed ship to get a free attack in. shits tight when it works.

There is no hard removal like Trap Hole, Fissure, Man-Eater Bug, no Waboku, etc...

There are new cards like 3 Naturias from the 5Ds era, Sea Lord's Amulet from Zexal, Wonder Balloons from Arc-V, and the new pack even has Shinobirds from a recently released pack.

The characters have special skills, for example, you some characters can let you start with a field spell, Weevil has a skill that puts 3 Parasite Paracides into your opponent's deck from outside the game, Tea has Life Cost 0 which you can activate if you have 1000 LP or less, which can help with Cyber Stein OTK with 2 BEUD out in 1 turn.

Connection errors were on your end not theirs, I switched to playing on my computer on nox when I was laddering (I'd recommend this anyway - you can switch between playing the same account on different devices with no trouble and the game plays faster and clearer on the computer) and had no issues with connection dropping at all - it's not a problem with their servers I think it just drops you as soon as your mobile connection/wifi dips
Also getting negative DP made more sense than not losing any as if you're not good enough to have a decent win rate you shouldn't be ranking up to the next level anyway

Storm + Wild Tornado can be a very powerful tech if you're using a deck that has a lot of quick play spells that also combo with it or spells/traps that can become dead cards in certain situations as the match goes on such as Skull Lair, White Elephant's gift or Wonder Balloons

Does it really make sense that you should have to emulate a mobile game to get the best experience from a PVP event? Seems to me that they could have put more work into differentiating between unintentional service interruption and intentional disconnects.

As for DP, penalties for losing makes sense, but a bad streak immediately after ranking up meant you'd be pretty much stuck there. A better way would have been to implement a rank progress floor at the bottom of each rank, but continue to track DP loss/gains to account for standings. That way, you still stand a decent chance at earning the rank-up gems but your performance compared to others is still tracked.

Let's not get hostile. Not everyone has a chance to try the challenge before asking for help and this duelist may be new to the game. I've attached a picture file I found on another popular website. It is a deck that is specifically designed to accomplish this challenge as fast as possible in a budget friendly way (I only spent ~$5 on my attempts). I'm not trying to call you out, I just don't want a fellow duelist to be stuck on this challenge, nothing personal.

Anyways, the idea of this deck is to take advantage of Sword of the Deep Seated's special ability which allows it to be played over and over again. You can equip a monster with sword and then tribute it for another monster returning the sword to the top of your deck where it can be used again. Thunder Dragon is essential to this strategy as it provides deck thinning and a tribute monster for the aforementioned strategy. As for the other set of tributes, this deck's author - who has reached KOG rank, has opted to use Tatsunootoshigo, but you could probably tech in in any level 5 or 6 monster as a replacement.

If they just jam 5 no-condition Spell cards in their regular deck against a weak AI, they can unlock Kaiba easily.
