Just picked up a kusiragama with inheritable Change to Attack (Dexterity). Dropping my grave near the first shrine on Isle of Demons if anyone wants it.

Does poison on a weapon do anything? I have a sword with +14 "Poision" (spelled incorrectly, lel) and I'm seeing no additional effects when I strike enemies multiple times, yet fire pops up on every single hit.

I'm not sure if it counts all the baths in the Trail of the Master, but you could do that and see if it pops. Only other ones I can remember off the top of my head are the mission where you find Ginchiyo in the tombs, the hidden one in the omibuzu (sea monster) map. good luck anon and you might be better off just going through them one by one again instead of just guessing.

level 750 revenant in Isle of Demons ng+. Dropped divine Kaido Axe, Kaido chest piece, Kaido gloves with increase attacka and defense for dual swords +14 as inheritable, and Kaido boots. Looks like it was using all Kaido minus the head piece being the Warrior Monk's Hood with a +40% total toughness.

Can you only get a weapon to 160? How about armor?
I can't even imagine having to forge 5 armors at 160.

I think parry gives you a larger parry window. Guard Ki reduction reduces the ki lost when blocking. Toughness increases your hyperarmor during attacks.

For a turtle build you'll want more guard ki reduction and toughness.

How many pieces of gear can get unarmed damage? I finished the game once and am kind of interested in getting into a unarmed fist build. I see there are things in onmyo and ninjutsu that help it out as well as some items with increased unarmed damage, but i have no idea how decent it can get or how to even start one. Are fist builds a thing you can actually do? or is it just a dream?

The Dream is definitely alive anon. Every single piece of armor can inherit bare fist damage for up to 25% bonus damage. There's also a clan, Fukushima that gives 70% bonus bare handed attack damage. I started a new game aiming for eventual unlimited ammo build and so i'm using dual kats since they scale with skills like rifles do.

Holy fuck! How are you supposed to use 2-kats effectively? I just finished off Hino-Enma and the damn things feel like i'm slapping enemies with wet tissue paper.

Beefier humans are an actual challenge now. I figured maybe i'd go for a primarily low stance method, but it just doesn't cut it. I don't want to fall back into a high-stance way of doing things.

I just beat the epilogue boss, this game really had a problem with balancing towards the end of the game.

I killed him in half a minute, I don't even know what the guy's moveset looks like, he shot out a bunch of eyes and then died.

I know there's New Game+ but I don't know if I want to trudge through a game that I kinda felt was way too long already, to get to cool bosses.

The orochi boss kinda felt like a metaphor for the entire game, the longer into the fight you go, the easier it got.

I bought the high stance spear skill that performs a blowback attack when you stance change out of a ki pulse. The problem is the move comes out during regular ki pulses, stance change or not. Could be a glitch. The description is wrong and there are definitely times when I need a normal ki pulse instead.

What's glory exchange rate? I never seem to get any when the clan battles are done, and I do contribute, last battle I gave 32k glory.

If it's the skill I'm thinking of that's been in before then the description must be wrong, which is odd because it never was before. I think you can change stance before the Ki Pulse and then do it to get around it, but there's not really a reason to, after getting used to your Ki Pulse being another attack it's very useful, and it's barely longer than the standard one too.

I looked it up to be sure, and it seems like they changed the description of the skill in the full game without actually changing what it does. It always used to activate on normal high stance Ki Pulse, so it's hard to say what they fucked up on. But the skill is actually really nice to have, just give it a chance since it works into combos well while still being safe if blocked, and remember you can dodge to Ki Pulse in high stance as well.
