The fuck made you think I said this? I said that they were similar. Karna's ideals were ultimately self-sacrificing and self-destructive, but he pursued them to the end and died happy because he knew they were worth fighting for. They also had nothing to do with Saber's ideals beyond both being self-sacrificing and self-destructive.

Both of their ideals were extremely flawed, but they also were not wrong, and Karna would be far more sympathetic to someone for following a self-destructive ideal to the end because that's exactly what he did.

The designs for Overedge are anime exclusive. Nasu liked them so he took them. You can look it up yourself.

The only thing we know from that fight is the times he killed Berserker and the state he was in after, along with the fact that Archer was eliminated in holding back Heracles from pursuing Rin, Shirou and Saber. I played the game and watched the anime. The anime explicitly shows its use, but Archer's core was damaged in the game. How he was able to kill Berserker over and over again, we'll probably never find out, but it's probably really cool.
