Then there's the useless people that have been lvl 56 for like 3 months, one is an old lady that plays a kuno, she actually sells pets, yea she is one of the few retards actually buying fucking pets at $10 to sell for 5m it's mind blowing. And then there's the "veteran fags" who literally has every single valk outfit and fashion shit that he bought with real cash, but is also lvl 56 and gets bored after 30 minutes of grinding.

I could go on, but you can imagine, I just don't understand how so many people drop money in this game, like the playerbase might be small, but the amount of people that actually RMT is astonishing, never seen so many active cash shoppers in a "f2p or b2p" game. I'd say at least 50% of my guild spends money every month on the game, I only bought the game and two maids, might buy the wright increase and maid outfit for afk processing but I'm not sure it's worth it yet.

This game is ruining my life and it's not because I play it too much. I met a guy while playing and we actually liked each other but he broke my heart. For 3 weeks now every day has been the same, I wake uo, think about it all day and try not to cry. I throw up several times a day, my hands are shaking all day and I'm trying to distract myself with BDO which is obviously the worst idea since he plays it too. I can't eat, I can't sleep, I can't think clearly. I had break ups before but it has never been this bad, I don't even know why, maybe this has been the first time I actually loved the guy.
At least I've lost the will to grind now.

Most of my money I get very slowly and through lifeskill stuff. Currently doing knight combat rations which is kind of a pain since I have to go out and personally gather 800 meat and 350 blood every single batch of 200 rations, which is something around 14 mil payout assuming they sell and assuming I have a value pack going.

Picked up the game 3 days ago. I've really quickly run into the lack of customization for my character. Everything is behind a pay wall or RNG. And fundamental character limitations like bag slots can't be bought with in game currencies, and there is no form of currency exchange. I've already payed for the game, so why is it so damn restricted? Can't ditch this basic outfit, and I can't dye or otherwise customize what I have. BDO feels like a greedy cash grab hidden behind something that really could be a great mmo.

Could be better? maybe, is it going to change if you complain hard enough? nope. Yes we are aware of the limitations, we might like them or not, but you adapt or you quit. I don't like a lot of the convenience behind a paywall, but I rather spend $37 on weight increase than keep paying $15 a month just to login to the server. You're going to say muh PLEX or muh WOW TOKEN and muh Value Pack, yes we are aware of that too, not all games function the same and it does bring an imbalance to the game, specially in one were money is translated into power very linearly. And yes they allow to sell outfits and shit, but they're so expensive that I'm glad there's retards with so much money that can blow $150 a week just to get a mere 120M.

The day of fantasy games where you pay $60 and then $30 for an expansion is long gone, every game has microtransactions/DLC and forces or entices players to fuck their wallet like a cheap whore, you can only pick the lesser evil. I could understand your frustration if this is like the first game with this business model, but this is one of the least jewy games in the genre, it's actually viable to progress and people quit left and right, so it's not impossible to catch up to the high tier of power within a reasonable time frame.

Go play Tree of Savior, Revelation, Arche Age, BnS or any other similar game and then compare the limitations, if you think they're better you can stay there, if you see the light we're here to guide you on how to survive as a pleb.

Usually you (newbies) just use the armor and weaponstones you get from leveling up.
Though it helps to have some direction and relevant armor, so you might want to look at Heve or Grunil and likely a Yuria weapon to upgrade with stones.
(+5 armor before you have a chance to fail upgrading, +7 for weapons)

The better question is why bother with that much DP when it doesn't matter against people with 210+ AP that will still kill you in under 5 seconds. I mean sure a large portion of the playerbase can't go through it, but you wouldn't get that gear in the first place without a plan. Sad that the plan falls through as AP is the dominate stat.

In my opinion you should sell your crescent ring and mark of shadow. buy PRI red or blue coral rings (or make them yourself, they are cheap). Keep upgrading your weapons to PRI/DUO then your armour.
