do you have a ling? You can probably get the thorned mace from antenolla right now. Break everything, then pick off the small parts before killing the main flower. try not to aoe the flower to 60%/30% or you'll trigger big damage, addtionally, you should defend when you get to that point. Ivy > Root > Leaves > Flower. Let a Noctis friend carry you with fire flask proccing statuses, note this wil only kill he ivy so you have to switch to another attack to deal damage with him.

Only a few of the MP regulars have literally 99 everything caps on their stuff and I'm one of them. Even ~lv 60 people should have decent survivability anyway. We're just doing it to have fun with /ffg/ anons, as long as you have some basic idea of roles you'll do fine, and on subsequent attempts if we fail we can always iron them out in-thread.

Remember, stamina doesn't get used until we win. No stress.

Rufus actually isn't bad. He's a back-line character with front-line attacking stats. His Super is pretty good even if it's the only thing he's going to get for the foreseeable future (IE: in Japan he hasn't gotten anything else). If you get somebody who strengthens dark moves (Sephiroth, not sure if his gloves are on the second banner) then you're in business.

Go for the second banner again and then save up your mythril to do the first banner. Sephiroth's Gloves are actually the most common relic on the first banner*, and I suspect you're not going to let up the chance at Tifa's relics.
