at most, i think the anime, backstory and cutscenes work as a bit of characterization, and it's weird to ME when people deviate too much from them, yeah. like, seeing an interpretation of potter that has no personal sense of justice doesn't make sense to me, or a potter that isn't at least a little cocky, etc. but it's in no way wrong for players to interpret him within those parameters based on their own answers during playthroughs. that's what you're supposed to do with a mostly silent protag.

Here's one I took a while ago. Though I'm not 100% sure that Vita's screenshotter actually accurately conveys what it looks like on screen since I was pretty sure it was 720p in game... (My TV said so anyway.)

Also depends some on location, I think the real close up places like back at Dojima's place are the worst. In TV land it usually looks pretty good because the scanline filter helps smooth things out.

I don't think I really filtered it that much, just increased the internal resolution. It does kind of emphasize the low amount of detail on some stuff, but it can be fun to notice shit that they put in that people couldn't possibly have seen on the original PS2 resolution. The hands on the save point in Tartarus spinning for example.
