What's the trick to the Korok trial, "Trial of the Second Sight"? The tip says to spy the hungry trees iron, but I can't figure out what the iron rocks are supposed to show me.

Does the game completely end after defeating Ganon like, say, Link Between Worlds does? Or can you collect memories and do other things after you kill him?

I thought rupees were pretty scarce in this game when literally the only enemies dropping rupees were yuga clan and bloopee (Glowing bunnies). But once you mine the shit out of ore for topaz/diamond/sapphire/ruby/luminous stones and sell them you get rich quick.

Also flowers are everywhere in this game, pick a bunch of flowers, cook 5 at a time and sell those dishes.

Buy heat-proof elixers from thegirl at the stable near the foot of death mountain. On the way to Goron City there's a hylian tourist who will ask you to find him 10 fire-proof lizards and he'll give you a fire-proof vest.

The techniques I used to catch the lizards are
1. Find one and take a photo so you can sense for it (You must have the photo upgrade for the sheikah slate from Purah in Hateno Village)

Can I just say, I love all the lore that went into this game.

The Miracle of the White Scale story (why Zora Tunics are given to husbands-to-be by Zora princesses) is pretty cool, not to mention the throwback names on the map. Mido Swamp, Bonooru's Stand, the four Tingle brother islands.. fucking Mabe Village and Tal Tal Heights... Hyrule finally feels like an actual lived-in world.

Still think it's crazy with that whole 10,000 years since Ganondorf was first sealed away thing. Really seems like it should be 10,000 years since Demise was sealed and Skyloft was sent up into the sky, but hey, that's just me.

Fun fact, there are several easy ways to climb off the plateau, but if you attempt to climb down the game will make you fall off the wall and reset your location. They also added fog to make the plateau appear higher up, it is removed once you get the paraglider. The plateau is actually fairly short compared to most other landmasses in hyrule

It's really not a good Zelda game. The dungeons and bosses are still a large part of the game, yet they pale in comparison to any of the other titles. The world is mostly empty and does very little to reward exploration, since shrines hardly require searching to find, and there isn't much else of note at all. It doesn't help that the game actively tries to make things tedious with the garbage stamina meter serving no purpose other than to frustrate you and the only "better" way around is via horse, but that controls like dogshit so it's not a great alternative. The quest design is egregiously lazy, even in the main campaign you're being given long treks back and forth with nothing of substance in between. Weapon degradation, inventory management and the severe lack of fast travel options early on, and even later between long distances just plain aren't fun and don't add anything to the game - which begs the question of why they're even present.

I've been playing for fucking days, and shrines aren't hard to find at all. Going to the top of a tower and gliding off makes it a cakewalk. The shrine sensor only makes it easier.
I simply don't have a clue where you're coming from, because I've been doing every side quest as they come in and not "found" more than a couple of shrines from exploring opposed to looking from a high spot.

Bomb a tree to knock the trunk over, bomb the trunk to get one or two bundles of wood.

You can often bomb multiple trees at once and it requires no weapon durability.
