We never promised and we're not obligated to incrase cap, pay money to sustain server with bigger population. Cap is around 2-2,5k and it wont go up. because we want it. If you disagreee, you can fuck off and play some other servers or wait for another one.

Ofc hype will die in a week and some players will enjoy 2k pop normal server. Because we won't adjust and spend any more time to create server able to house 10k online, with custom spawn timers, working overhours to rpotect server from ddos and chinks trying to setup goldselling bots here

Top lists are there for future, when some pop die out and to attract some people (not thousands or hundreds, but maybe 10-50 per month)) who'll come to play later. Nowadays most people look at population and community sites like 4chan/plebbit to ask about good server. People still using toplists are minority, but we want that people, instead of 3k plebbit swarm, shilled by guys making demands and expectations that team won't ever meet.
Voting system is a middle ground between normal user and prem user. Its fairy average server. Don't expect it to be 100% blizzike retail level
Its kinda funny to see people claiming that server without 6k pop is unplayable, when people were complete "ok mode" on retail servers with 1k-1,5k population
