You dont need anything beyond boots for movement. If you want to forego cdr boots(which you shouldnt because early game will suffer). Then leave it at that. Blink on him is a meme that needs to stop. Syv is a healer supp so you should maximize that with plenty of def to stay alive and be able to body block for days.

Shield & Talaria are too much movement and purely selfish. He has no power so his ult nor heals wont do shit.

Ao takes a carry couple to be able to hide behind and clean up. Most assassins in joust arent good by themselves if they cant frontline like fenrir or nem. With Thor, thanny, and maybe rat as the exclusions. Joust is more a warrior or guardian/hunter/mage game anyway.

But ive personally been carried by a kali and ao in joust so its just about teamwork and a decent comp. Thats why i love joust because its more about a concentrated synergy. Whereas conquest you can get away with being a weak link as long as your team can win fights and push. But its painfully apparent who the shitter is in joust, the second it happens.
