Reach middle without Medic pocketing you, safely. When Med decides to heal you share Sandvich and keep him behind a cover as you shoot.
Eviction Notice do the positioning job better and boosts you.
FoS allow you to bodyblock shots for your Medic (hint: jump) and keeps you alive even after Med is dead.

Momentarily crouch when you are at a low profile or too close to throw off the aim of opponents. Don't crouch if there are airborne targets on top of your head.
When you are pushing (babbiez are ded) ask for the help of a sweeper like banner or roamer Soldier or at least a Scout to protect your Medic from pick classes.
If you push at the right time you can slowdown Engineers alot.

General loadout is stock Minigun/Tomi with Sandvich and FoS.
You can run Shotgun or FBusi with Brass, Huo or Natascha for more mobility and fending Demoman, but Medic will be pissed at you for sure.
When you decide to use any shotty be sure your Medic is safe behind cover and nearby a dispenser/cart/healthkit.
Dalokoh's would be a better approach to Brass and Natascha as it have shorter cooldown also increases max health so damage mitigation will kick earlier.
Holiday Punch is loads of fun to use with Natascha (sometimes Huo) as it takes a decade to rev that thing up.
KGB is a wildcard you can use when you are using stock Heavy or general loadout. Fun if you can land on people from above.
