Man..I like this game so far but there's a few things that are just so fucking jarring compared to past Zeldas. I don't know how to adjust to this.

1. No fucking music is really jarring. I want themes and shit in the fields but this is some nature chirping trash.

2. The fact that I've only played like 2 hours and have the bombs, the bow and arrow, the ice arrows, and the fire arrows just throws me off badly. So many Zelda staple tools just tossed at you at the start it's like what the fuck man

I think they tried to go for a "use the right equipment at the right time" sort of thing but they executed it so poorly, later on in the game it's considerably better, weapons with 40+ damage seem to last exponentially longer, but even then, the harder enemies have exponentially more health so it just cancels it all out.
If you're just fighting base mobs however, yes it does get a lot better.

Goddamn, do I fucking regret buying a digital copy for the WiiU.

He's a big glowing things that spawns on Satori Mountain at "a certain time" when "lots of animals appear", all i can tell is that when he WAS there a bright glowing aura was on top of the mountain and it was all misty when i got there.

I've been awake 40 hours straight now because of this damn game.

near the zora there's a shrine on an island covered in thorns. I've tried gliding from the closest pillar but can't quite get there. Is there any other way through the thorns or do I just suck dick at glider timing

Theres 600 rupees on the island NE of Mount Lanayru if you want.

You can also farm Ambers (30 rupees) by playing tag with the girl in Kakariko. Though she also gives salt rocks inbetween.
