RoI armor especially. I think the balance of practicality/sciencefiction/fantasy has been tipped a bit too far towards fantasy especially with the ornaments. And based on what I see other people wear in the tower I don't think I'm alone in this. Could be people just wear whatever has best stats and perks tho and that armor has fixed perks.

You can still have fun on your own. The original story is kind of a mess but I think you can get a kick out of it with all the expansions now and the lore is really cool if you're interested in that sort of stuff (at least for me it is). You've got matchmaking for basic stuff and if you want to try a raid which I would definitely recommend if you enjoy playing the game you can use one of the many LFG sites.

The feel of the game is great and it was the main reason why I kept playing it for so long alone. And forcing you to meet other people and use the voice chat was the best thing Bungie did because it allowed me to meet the awesome people I now consider actual friends.

Nioh turned out to be way more repetitive and easy than I had hoped.
The minimal amount of enemy types trivialized the games as well as basic mechanics like Living Weapon and Discord.
There is no reason to finish NG+ as it is easier than just restarting NG, but restarting NG just reminds you how much of a chore many of the levels are.

People keep clinging onto what Deej said back when Destiny first released about "Your characters carrying over to sequel" and assumed that it meant that EVERYTHING would carry over until the final Destiny sequel. Never mind that this would never actually happen as they would have to tune the sandbox to include guns/armour that are years old but shit changes and it may not have been a feasible option for Destiny 2.

I mean it's still entirely possible that some cosmetics carry over like the ones redeemed on your Bungie profile but we won't know until Bungie details what exactly is carried over.

That "build your legend" crap is pretty generic marketing for any game developer, and it never means you carry over custom built characters year to year. It really shouldn't be a surprise. Mass Effect has been constantly going downhill after ME1. Started off as a promising cool sci-fi RPG but then degraded into the same Bioware shit as always.
