Age of Vikings are reuploaded by another modder who worked on it, but he said that Age of Britannia and Age of Italia would not come back because he didn't have the files for them.

bad idea man morghur has a hard position because of all the empire fucks that want to kill you.

Just be mobile as hell and sack/raze villages until you have an area that you are secure in. It'll take a while but eventually you'll have a safe zone.

Anyone else think making a norscan faction playable would be fun? You could have a Viking type playstyle where you have your norscan settlement but you work towards something, idk like the chivalry meter, by conducting raids on the southern factions. Maybe you gain chaos favor or which gives you bonuses. Any ideas for other Viking themed faction gimmicks?I just think sailing up the river reick to sack altdorf then retreating with the spoils would be fun.

I dont know much about the army book though. Is it possible to differentiate a norscan faction from WoC? What else could be added to them?

How to play beastmen campaign without feeling like a fugitive the whole time?
Feels like I'm raiding and sacking just to keep the bestial rage from dwindling and going into hiding whenever enemies sally out. Casualty replenishment is hard, growth is hard. Cant make alliances and everyone wants to kill me.
Moon events all have drawbacks. But that + 50 melee attack one won me this battle.

And for the Old Friend: It's indeed Toddbringer. No Emil Valgeir as the secondary LL, but you'll get Markus Wulfhart as the very first recruitable Legendary Hero! (he also works as the Witch Hunter on the map, with anti-large stats in battle). Middenland also gets new units:

>Warrior Priest of Ulric instead of Sigmarite one
>Teutogen Guard instead of Flagellants

Before this update the elves would bolt out of the forest to who knows where, only having less than half an army. Now they never leave, do they ever leave? Should you just leave them as a barrier against skarsnik if you're playing bretonnia? Will they ever stab you in the back?

Helborg could introduce Imperial Foot as a unit, in addition to grand master lords who have a cavalry focus in their armies. It wouldn't be a stretch to introduce huntsman at the same time, who could bring a more niche missile unit to the Empire roster that focuses on bringing monsters down, either through poison or a flat anti-large bonus.
Whereas with Leitdorf, it'd mostly be a joke campaign that implies the Empire Provinces would be willing to unite under the Mad Count.

in my game I used about 5 mounted yeomen archers in my all cav stack. they're really useful always get a good amount of high value kills or distract their skirmish cav/heavy cav drawing them away from their main force where they're easily dealt with. I like them in multiplayer too. And unlike pistoliers or outriders they actually do decent against doggos and marauder horsemen because they can run and shoot them if they decide to engage. especially useful if they're the marauders with the throwing axes.

I noticed some of the seas/lakes are, I think, misnamed in my game. For example the small lakes in Bretonnia are called the Kraken sea, the water north of Norsca is the Gulf of Kislev.

I thought it was a problem with mods but I disabled (not uninstalled) them, and it's the same. Does anyone else have the same problem.

Funnily enough if only a few reach the men behind the pikes they rout and shatter pretty fast.

I remember charging a unit of Thracian warriors with only 30 remaining to entertain pikemen before they reached my fort and blocked cavalry movement. Turned on Unbreakable and watched about 20 die outright. The 2 or 3 of the initial impact which survived started cleaving the pikemen and killed about 20 in a few seconds, and the fuckers ran away and never returned.

Those same Thracians then got run over by enemy cavalry, but hey, they killed 2 or 3 horsefuckers before they were wiped out so meh
