Not sure what you're implying here. I threw a template together in five minutes for fun to make Grappley and that's it, if there was a commitee to stamp approval on fighters or to turn them away, I was never invited to be on it, nor would I want to be. I never forced people to draw Kickey, just did it because I like to draw her. The 'y' naming convention is charming but no one held a gun to anyone's head over it as far as I know.

I really don't have any power over here, I see a few people trying to make a boogeyman situation out of me, which seems silly as I don't have a FNAF discord and all the skype groups are dead as far as I know. I may have had sway on some groups to fail miserably at making games on a year ago, but all I do these days is make quests and scribble. I'm not a big deal. I'm here to have fun and make stuff and stream sometimes, that's the only real end goal I got.

Oh shit, you're right. I had thought it was mute because it was supposed to parrot parents' voices, but that might be giving too much credit. While we're on memes, the Handunit dialogue was really intrusive sometimes. It would've been better for the "Eggs Benedict" joke to pop up once or twice, not to be repeated every night of the game. It would've left us with some tension when we go to Night 5 and don't hear him talking, just the elevator going down. Or the capacity for spooky shit to happen on the elevator itself. I appreciate that Scott's giving some levity to the series again, but there's an obvious difference between the dark humor of 1, and "Exotic Butters". The hanging guards were absolutely brilliant, though.

Yeah, it's pretty dissappointing how you would have no idea about the child killing features until you see the blueprints. The story sometimes feels like it was cut in half for another game, in terms of how little there is to it in SL. If it was like the first game, where you can draw your own conclusions that would be okay but SL is much more "cinematic" and narrative driven.

Yeah, he doesn't ever come off as a threat. The idea of a passive-aggressive animatronic can work well, but the application was limited mostly to introducing Baby.

Plus you'd be able to leave it ambiguous until Custom Nigjt anyways as to whether or not Ennard was merely pretending.

I was looking forward to a SL Chica.

Hoping for a game that follows the branching paths of SL but in a way where you are running for your life. Like if the SL map was cyclical and you'd be alerted of animatronics chasing you. Then you'd have to either hide (see: Biddybab) or keep running to a new room (see: Ballora, Foxy). At first it would introduce you to the map, no dangers, just an animatronic coming at you slowly. As the nights progress more mechanics are introduced and the animatronics get faster, along with there being more of them.

To add to that, maybe there's a room you run through that you can set traps in (see: Dead Space's Hunter boss fight). The final night you'd have to actually stop one of the animatronics before the 6am time limit. Maybe the place is on lock-down and the 6am time limit is when the other animatronics turn on that time, making it nearly impossible to escape. The only way to win is to trap the animatronic in the room and destroy it (aka scooping room).

Or maybe it will be another game that turns out good but ultimately not fulfilling it's full potential.

Oh, and one of the mechanics could be like FNaF 2 with the Toys versus the Withered animatronics. The Toys would be programmed to 'talk' to the other animatronics (programmed to do this). So if you wore a mask you could get by them. However if you were being followed by a an animatronic that isn't tricked, being stopped by a Toy would mean game over. So you could either sneak past the Toy and use them to stop the stalker, or just wear a mask and wait it out. Something like that.

For hiding you couldn't just sit there because smaller animatronics (like Biddybab) would tattle on you. They would be harmless otherwise, like Balloon Boy, so getting caught by one would just mean others are alerted of your position.

I wish the robots were more violent, actually. Springtrap might have been creepier if it was only recently Springtrapped, so the suit was just bright yellow with all that gore as opposed to looking more like a zombie. The contrast, you know. The closest was blood? on Fredbear, which just looks like a red light shining on the teeth and claws.

FNAF's shift from the uncanny valley look of the first game would be better accepted if the new designs were still unnerving IMO. There's a lot of different animatronic designs out there but Scott seems more content with doing Freddy and co over again.

I still think excessive gore creates a technical hurdle that might be tough to clear. But in this case specifically it may suck some of the magic from things, however much there still is. No, on the Nights 2-4 (Night 1 too if you are lucky) it's Nightmare Foxy running, it is meant as a cue/warning so you can tell what side he is on so you can keep him out and make the Night easier, it could also just be a noise played to help you tell when an animatronic has moved, but I think it was reserved for Nightmare Foxy. On Night 5 and from 4AM to 6AM on any Night after that, that's how you tell where Nightmare Fredbear/Nightmare/Nightmarionne is heading so you can get to the door and stop him, same for the laughing cues, if you go to the wrong door or turn to the wrong thing (closet or bed), there is a high chance that you just lost and you have to replay the Night.

They're behind Scott 100%. Like most of the fanbase, it shares an autistic desire to learn everything about the story. Wookiepedia is better than these bastards. It's not about the atmosphere or gameplay as much as it's the lore. As long as there's "lore" to the game, they'll be on board for it 100%. Thus, Scott makes each game simultaneously less mysterious and more retarded, making up plot twists as he goes along. The blind acceptance, and desire for answers to a story that doesn't' need them fuels and enables Scott. Were FNAF to have remained a mild success, enough to make money but not enough to breach the mainstream "LP" audience, he might have made a sequel that avoided all the traipses of pandering to a fanbase, such as overreliance on iconography or a dilution of what made the first one great.

Prometheus was a visually well put together film, at least. That's usually the case with Giger, however. The Space Jockey being turned into a bald Aryan guy was really stupid. It's like how The Thing's prequel gave us all the backstory. A funny thing is that both of these situations are like the Puppet's introduction, where they're a retcon of the previous work FNAF's ultimate issue is that nothing is planned out.

If Springtrap is Michael, I could sort of see it. Scott's a super Christian guy after all. The animatronics got nicer as the series went on until they ended up castrated like in Silver Eyes. Springtrap and Baby becoming dindus isn't far-fetched. He'd probably stop there, but William being redeemed in death isn't out of the question if he ended up an alcoholic or whatever, wracked by guilt. It'd be retarded but it wouldn't be too far removed from "They just want revenge"
