Rate my deck, brobros. I must've only lost one game in the past ten or so, drew one where the fucker I played against resurrected my Mangonel and then gave it resilience on round 2, frequently go 2-0 against other low levels (I'm almost level 7). What would you improve here? Keep in mind I have like 25 scraps at the moment.

No, because in this game there really isn't a problem with running out of cards, and you want to increase the chance of getting individual cards.

In MTG/Hearthstone, there are occasions when you run more than the minimum (In Hearthstone you can't actually run more than the minimum, but you can include cards that shuffle back in your deck) to try and win the game by making your opponent run out of cards first.

I'm in the same boat, I started playing Gwent just today. used to play MTG a lot at my local card shop, but moved irl and now don't have anyone to play with. But I'm way more busy than I used to so I'd only be able to play a tcg few times a week irl.

I started playing hearthstone, since its online and so popular, on and off for over the last year ,or so, getting rank 5 most seasons but never legend.

but the latest fiasco disaster and ungoro expac and brodes interviews made me realize team 5 will never pull away from their current model of poorly balanced, RNG heavy, forced 51% trainwreck of a design model

I was put off by other online card games since I knew they'd likely fail in the shadow of a game like hearthstone (is backed by Activision blizzard). I mean just look at runescapes cg. ES cg, notch's cg, they all fell through basically

But At this point I'm willing to take a gamble on Gwent since CD project are based polacks. But even if it falls through I guess there's always shadowverse.

The problem is the gold/silver limit doesn't scale with your deck size, so if you go over 25 cards you dilute your deck.

If you make a 40 card deck you will play plenty of games where you never draw your powerful golds and silvers

Both Schirru and Caretaker are good, but crafting a good ST deck that uses Schirru is more expensive than making a consume monsters for Caretaker.

Vicavaro medics are fantastic. Steal his onion-helmet dudes or queensguard, and he'll have nothing to use his medics on. Also, Skald is a fantastic card to steal.

Vicovaro medic is one of the cards that is stupidly design.

They made a lot of changes to the game to avoid absurd thinning and long ass combos, yet you can play Medic into reaver scout into medic into reaver scout into medic into X. Or Medic into BMC into medic into BMC into medic into E. mercenary into first light into Medic into another mercenary into Decoy into medic into mercenary into first light into whatever extra points if it is a N. knight.

That is bullshit. You can have 1 or even 2 card advantage and still lose. I played against a Radovid control and basically I bullied him with my PFI buffed out the ass and then promote them before Borhk set off. He was soooo salty he didn't even GG despite he having 2 card advantage over me I still won.

Card advantage is great if you can keep up with the tempo established by the other player otherwise it is useless. Kinda like saving up Dbomb for the last round and turn, it is only useful if you can keep up with the peace of the other player otherwise you will have to use it on a turn or round you don't want just to stay in the game.

Craft Crones, avallach and caretaker, those are universally good monster cards. Consider crafting Imlerith (or kayran if you think about playing consume).

I made a cow control deck with some units that not a lot of NG players are using like the standard bearer since some times I tend to row stack in the range row. Wondering if changing Cinthia for a tech card like Roach. I run Mardroeme only for nekkers and roach and debating if changing Menno for another for of control, since he is great for close matches when I trow Cantarella and my opponents thing I am dropping the match then I just Menno and take it but he is situational as fuck but so far has been doing decent work.

Literally just started, and every time I win round 1 easily, without overextending.

Then I barely lose round 2 in a a game of attrition.

It was really fun, I love playing casual. Playing the ladder is playing the exact same garbage ever, at least on casual I can try different shit and have fun.

I basically swarmed the board with my PFI and then buff their ass to oblivion, shit is fun. I think that BB was fucking useless I will try the same deck with Regular Yen since I usually have the most units on the board.
