But the Monopad wouldn't have been affected by the blood since it was a headshot that did him in and I doubt Tsumugi would have left that much blood behind just taking his Monopad from his hand. The pattern of blood in the bookcase is what threw me off nor did it make much sense.

As a tech nerd, can I just say I love how they finally brought in Isaac Asimov with their robot and technology? Monokuma was generally controlled by Junko, and the ones in AE were supposed to be killer machines, but Kiibo generally follows them very closely, save Tsumugi at the end of chapter 6 whom chose to die anyway because she was so mad.

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

V3 puts a lot of focus on the first law for Kiibo, in addition with his personality granted by the viewers, no one really ever say him capable of a murder at any point.
The second law comes into play during the trial of chapter 6, specifically where he comes back despite being "erased".

By the second law of robotics, he should not have been able to do that. This alone has me thinking that the "human AI" is not only limited to emotions, but also free will. This also ties in with the "fiction" vs. "reality" theme, as you can control fiction however you want, but not reality.

Finally, the third law I think explains his death, but also raises questions on whether Kiibo was the one that saved the survivors or the outside world. There was no actual escape otherwise, so he created the exit for them, however until more information is given, the extent of how much the third law was applied cannot be determined.

Fuck you, I love robotics and this is the first time I can nerd out like this let me have my moment.
