Then again cecils natural SPR is quite low but he never had problems surviving magical attacks due to his high HP.

My advice would be this then. Blitz through the event shit today/tomorrow. Devote all your stamina to blitzing the story and elite dungeons. Especially the first dungeons in elite, where they drop 2 stamina shards each. Skip daily dungeons except sunday.

My strategy is basically to do a couple story dungeons in a day and once they fill up my stamina gauge I quickly deplete it with a daily dungeon.

I'm at 81 stamina and 158 mythril. I'm at work all day and I spend the vast majority of that time working so when I play it has to be quick and I have to basically have no stamina left when I'm done because I'm putting it down for hours on end.
