No, seriously, I'm out of town for the rest of the week and I don't have the time to be on here very much. You fags need to keep this going.
Oh god fucking finally there's a new thread.
How do I get better at bipedal AC's? I'm rolling with this thing and its serving me well but now B-5 Nocturne is kicking my ass with his MOONLIGHT in the arena.
>>169903393
It's a more airborne leg type. Bipeds don't have the landing issues that hovers do, so you can get up and around more effectively, which will let you get around that Moonlight more easily.
Nocturne is the guy with the shotgun and the Moonlight, right? Pack a shotgun of your own or a handgun and fight him close.
>>169913490
I see, I'm having still some trouble doing airborne fighting in general since I'm bad at aiming with controllers. And yeah, Nocturne has the shotty and the moonlight, feels kinda cheap that arena opponents can have stuff like that before its available to you but thats life i guess. Are the energy shields actually worth using? I've also read in the pastebin that overheating your opponnents is very effective in AC3, should I go for that?
>>169913490
>>169914756
Nevermind, just beat him. Airborne legs + machine gun work really well.
Would anyone be so kind as to seed or give a magnet for FA for me? It's frozen and I hadn't seen any peers with over 73%. Thank you in advance.
AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

I say keep your distance and spam missiles.

I watched some Japanese MADs and couldn't help but notice that Joshua is voiced by Jouji Nakata (unless it's just someone very similar).

I'm kinda excited to be honest. I want to get the game in a few days. I know it looks a little gay, what with everyone drawing shirtless link porn everywhere, but I think it looks fun.
Having said that, I need something to fill the void until Armored Core 6, and I don't want to have to resort to that option.Going outside and getting fresh air.
Any tips for quad legs in first gen AC? I'm trying to get through the quad arena in MoA and got stuck halfway through it.
is there any game with insane customization that matters like the Armored Core games? I need some recommendations (except for racing games)
>>169945216
Front Mission 5, Mechwarrior Online,Dark Souls 2, Warframe
>>169945216
Custom Robo. It looks kind of cartoony and arcadey, but it's still an awesome game.
>>169935171
For game that old, that was a nice looking duel, the camara helps too.

>>169947970
Ah yes, Hawken. I loved the game when I played it on my old toaster, but there's nobody playing it anymore. And it reeked of pay2win.
Maybe there was a reason behind the Destruction path. Maybe we were just pulling a Lelouch so the people would hate us instead of fighting each other.
>>169969119
Lelouch was a douche who needed his gay magic powers to do anything. Strayed was able to do everything he tried and better, and he didnt need his harry potter mind control garbage.
>mfw Lelouch would die of radiation poisoning the moment he tried that trick on Strayed
>>169969119
There isn't any reason behind other than a mercy kill on humanity.
While extreme, Oldking could give a win to Line Ark if he pulled his stunt sooner, togheter with maybe Strayed and White Glint, while Oldking used the "we gotta make the people live back on earth" as an excuse to take down the cradles, he just wanted to wipe every single living person that lived.
Whatever reason it could be argued, this is one of the few that made sense but sadly, Oldking is a sick fuck and Line Ark was destroyed, if the cradles were to be taken down by force, Line Ark would be the sole power by the virtue of being the last man standing, needless to say, Oldking would place Line Ark on his sights afterwards.
AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!
>>169969119
>there was a reason
Maybe it's just an animal. Can it even understand what we're saying?
Going trough For Answer on 1.20 like I was advised. That worked out well in the end, I was only upset at generators seemingly being not as good as in 1.00, but once I unlocked better generators that wasn't really a problem anymore. Haven't really encountered a situation where I would need 1.15 yet. I beat and S-ranked normal on all but 3 mission, now I'm going through hard. Wanna test out Kojima weapons now.
>>169960241
>And it reeked of pay2win.
Being playing it on my PS4, at first I thought the same, but in reality the game is grindy, you need to play a lot to unlock other mechas and stuff, and you need to level up the rank with each mech to be able to buy some upgrades, all this can be done with in-game money, but you can speed up the process with real money, the only thing you have to buy with money is merely cosmetic, all the stuff that can really affect gameplay can be obtained if you play, a lot.
>>169986389
Oh, I know you could technically unlock all the stuff, but like you said, it was really grindy. Unnecessarily so, infact. I did the math in my review of the game, and I found that you need to win 100 matches a day, every day, for one year straight just to unlock everything. That felt a little overkill.
>>169989470
Well seeing how the different frames are, and that there are divided by class you could easily aim for the type of gameplay you want, or at least have a frame of each kind to have all the roles covered.
>>169985876
>Haven't really encountered a situation where I would need 1.15 yet
You never actually "need" it to beat anything. But it's still fun for replaying missions later on, especially if you want to build an AC for AESTHETICS without worrying about weight and energy problems.

Newfag here, got a question.
I heard there was going to be AC6. Was that little piece of info true, or was I rused?
>>170002545
From mentioned in some interview that they're definitely going to make another AC game or something vague like that. No official announcements or info, just a bit of confirmation that they didn't forget about the series entirely yet.
>>170002901
Now that I think about it, that may have been where I heard it. I guess that means no new info then? I guess It's back to suffering for me then.
>>170003235
Expect a screenshot or trailer at Tokyo Game Show in 2018, most likely having a release of late 2019 to early 2020. And, this is, of course, if they don't end up canceling the project, or transforming it into a different IP, which would all depend on if they can find a publisher who wants it, and who that publisher is.
>>169922770
Anyone?
>>170008896
Pretty sure nobody here has pirated the current gen games since everyone likes to play online. Don't think anyone can help you.
>>170001340
I dont why Lilium is so popular, her few lines dont even paint a "moe" image for me
Any New rumors on AC6? The guy from The Expanse still in talks with From? Any news on the possible MMO Elements? I honestly want some Good MMO elements with good single player stuff, mostly so I can play online with my brother.
>>170036969
No so far.
>>170036969

Terrible Lynx, great character.
>>170055505
No, nothing on Earth can stop them, at least not in time to prevent them from destroying everything. The only thing that can oppose a NEXT of that level is another NEXT and there's no one left and even if a Lynx with Joshua's talents emerges, they won't have enough time to gain experience.
The biggest threat to Strayed is the lack of logistical support (ammunition, propellant for VOB and simply, food and time to sleep).

>>169992552
Sure, I already beat the last mission and there's nothing harder anyway, I just want to S it. On normal I just fought thought it normally, but on hard I use Kojima arms and it seems their shit tracking affects my shoulder weapons, so I guess I'll replace them with missiles, either Kojima or good old saline05 on 1.00. I also need to figure out who take out first since you have a free shot at the beginning.
Already asked this in a previous AC thread but I forgot the answer, in For Answer what all do I need to do to unlock every single part?
I've beaten all collared fights, beaten 30 of 42 missions, and gotten the collared ending... Twice.
I figured the three missions you get to choose from near the end would change the ending but apparently not, I've read the chart and now I'm ready to do the convoluted mission order for the other two.
>>170096830
You need to beat the game 5 times. Orca, Destruction, and League 3 times (since 3 missions at the end of collared happen at the same time). Stick to GA jobs at the beginning to unlock Orca/Destruction route and of course don't forget to just pick the missions you didn't do before.
>>170096830
Complete both the attack and defend arteria cranium.
>>170097276
Did anyone else hate this mechanic in ACFA? I want the satisfaction of buying all my parts, I don't want them handed to me after beating the game. Then I don't feel like I earned it.
>>170099661
I thought it was stupid, but I didn't hate it.
>>170097276
>>170097331
Alright, I get how to beat everything now.
Is there any bonus for doing hard mode missions and S-ranking everything?
>>170100817
Bonus parts and tuning points.
>>170100817
Hard missions are really interesting (they're redesigned to add new enemies and challenges and now just have changed damage values). They also add stuff to the story since more characters make an appearance. You get 5 points for beating a mission on hard and 1 extra point for S rank.
I really liked when Wynne couldn't comprehend someone standing in place. It just shows you what kind of performance is expected from a Lynx.
>>170106143
Where does that happen in the game?
>>170109723
ACFA, Mission "Defeat Wonderfull Body", with Wynne D as your wingman.
