Not sure how to answer play style in this context, in MMO's I tend to make builds that are fun and support focused but since the pop in low I'll probably strike a medium between solo-capable and works well with others.

I haven't looked into the classes though, one of them might look cool and I'll jump on that.

I think mobas are the casual version of MMOs. It gives exactly the same "reward" of feeling superior to others (whether because of farm or skill), but compressed to 45 minutes instead of months and years.

I guess it depends whether you're more of a PvE or PvP faggot though. The mobage I play are only about your own achievement. There's literally no multiplayer apart from event ranking, which very few people care about except for the amount of rewards you get.

There's no way to get a lot of them in a short period of time. They are suffocatingly everywhere though. Events, squires, festia, some dungeon chests, some SM chests, ancients, metallurgy, metal conversion, belvast mobs... Wait, belvast mobs. If you think it's worth it to farm them for commerce loot, you'll also have gems as a byproduct, but not much.

It's easy to fuck up your skills.
For example I had to reset my skills because my Composing skill was too high. All my music notes were too hard to play at Rank C Play Instrument or Song.

Or if you have too much dex and need to fail refining to level it but everything has a 99% chance of success so you're either stuck or fork out money on training potions or failure potions. Reseting skills doesn't cost anything.

See, even those examples I don't understand. You reset because your Play Instrument skill was low? You level that up passively while casting your buff skills, which is faster than using the Playing Instruments skill anyway. You get EXP towards Playing Instruments from casting the buff at all levels, then you get more exp if you get positive results, again at all levels. Right up until Rank 2 it gives between 200 and 300 exp total just for doing that alone, and at Rank 2 it still gives 170. At higher levels, smacking enemies with cheap lutes still gives between 30 and 60 exp total if you go for the max exp from that action. Doesn't matter if every mob you kill is ranked "Weakest."

Then for refining... most levels seem like you don't need to fail at all if you want to rank up. Or are you trying to perfectly train each and every rank of your skills? Rank 2 only gives 24 exp for failing to refine 80 mythril ores. Rank 1 doesn't call for failures at all.

There are either more efficient ways to level the skills you've got problems with, or failure isn't even necessary to hit the exp required to rank skills up. If you're going for master titles, perfect training only counts when you're rank 1.

Go look at rank 2.
You would have to refine 80 gold plates, 40 mythril ingot, 75 gold ingot, 150 silver ingot and 250 copper ingot just to get to Rank 1. Do the math.
You need 5 ores to make an ingot. That's 200 mythril, 375 gold ores, 750 silver, 1250 copper. But if you fail to refine mythril (which is pretty fucking hard) you can ignore the 750 silver and 1250 copper ores and instead get an extra 400 mythril ores.
It's just way faster.

But sure, if you want to make things harder for yourself then go ahead.

Is there an MMO where you can control more than 1 unit?

I know no one cares about Aura Kingdom, but I'm playing the mobile version and they went and added voiced cutscenes for more stuff, and redid the existing cutscenes, added Gaia to the story, and has the lv70 dungeon bosses show up with the shadow dude in the flashback where you play as some npc and use AoE spells that work like Eden Eternal's. Feels really weird after however many times I ended up going through the first few areas on all the different servers.

It also plays pretty close to the original, though the minigames were cut out. Also the game literally plays itself if you're not up against a boss that you're not overleveled for.

SO there's a hilarious DFO stream going on right now with the official developers where they make people do a voice dub for 3 gays(Male Mage) reveal trailer and the devs are even cosplaying as them.

I've been playing them off and on since Grand Fantasia, sorry. While it's still p2w for sure, over time they've made it at least possible to upgrade your gear past a certain point without paying. And easier to actually play the game, so many quality of life improvements. Of course, I just play them for fun once in a while. It's not like I'm playing on Aeria's severs or something.

There was an MMO back in the day called Eudemons online, it's dead now but it featured 3 pets\partners that fought alongside you and it felt somewat like an RTS. It was really fun, especially since you could fuse and breed your pets to enhance them.

Not any help to you I'm afraid but it reminded me of that fun game. There's a heavily anticipated game coming up called Peria Chronicles which will feature a system like that, last I heard they were re-do'ing the combat system from the ground up so not only might it be different but it probably won't release till 2018.

Does anyone else have issues with the sound and text in code closers? Sometimes sounds will be a lot quieter, like it's muted. Also a lot of the text seems to be cut off or it just shows [x]. My only experience with the Nexon manager is for Mabinogi and while I do use it to launch the game itself I close the manager straight after and the game keeps running without issue, because it launches its own anti-cheat nonsense on its own. There aren't any lingering processes either, just the game client and the anti cheat. Not sure about the other games but it might be as easy, I wouldn't worry about it.

Same subscription model as R3. You can buy 'Bonds', which are used to buy 2 weeks of membership, from the GE now same as R3. It's also really easy to make money to buy the next bond before it runs out as a member.

In R3 I only played an hour a day and I got enough money to buy the next bond.

I haven't played since 2012 so idk how the bonds and shit work. I thought they were going to make 2007 runescape have f2p like the regular game did.

Why would you want such a low chest reward? 20 at least gives you a krosmic. Below that is nothing but trash. Aim for 30. 300 gold, 100 fragments and a rare infinite.

I did my daily money runs, like buying stuff from NPCs and reselling them in the GE. Took around 20 minutes for 1.5m. The other 40mins I did whatever, like Divination and selling the energies, or doing bosses like Queen Black Dragon.
I was getting 4-5m/h doing QBD.
Remember, you only need to get ~1m per day to buy the next set of bonds.

Even if your stats are shit you can get ~1m per day. There's Vis Wax which is an easy 500k per day and takes like 2 mins.
If you finished the Fremink quest you can buy Yak Hide for another 500k.
Then there's another quest if you finished for another ~500k by selling broad arrows.

I don't play Iop that much, and I have a fair share of krosmics and infinites at this point.

My recommendation is to make achievements to get gold, and buy packs. Buy silver packs, or get enough infinites to fill 5 spots on your deck. You can save 240 gold to level up any infinite you have to tier 2. Have you done the play all the gods one? That gives you a free silver pack.

Also, take out these 2ap gobballs. They are useless. Commons to craft are the 3AP white wabbit, that 4ap sgt whatitsname 4/6/2, and your class commons/uncommons you may need. They are cheap and always useful.

These is my Cra and Eniripsa decks. They both change practically everyday, though, I barely play Cra now since I changed to only Eniripsa. The Cra one got me to rank 27 last season, and could have done 30 if I wasn't lazy; looking back at it, it looks like trash, but it works. I should study my deck more, though, like I sadi, I'm an eniripsa main now.

Skellingtons work marvelous with Eni since you can always rely on having a 1/2 body for Infected Flask. They still are on the board after a removal, eating those cards away. They can withstand a rush from a bigger minion, working well with Iop.

I still don't have many of the cards I want for each of my decks; I need another infected flask and asprogik for example, but I'm saving to finally craft my waifu (Eva) or Grou, since he works wonders with my control decks.
