1pp ensures it's good anywhere along curve
It's basically, a free evo trade any time you have it
It lets your board clear a ward or major threat such as goblinmounts without mulching, maintaining your momentum for a pittance
Lance is a minimum 5-7 cost 6 dmg which doesn't really cut it in this meta of fatties unless you're willnig to blow 0-costs you needed for combos to win
