How do I stop my controller being unresponsive in games? Works fine in the menu but when I open an application it will ignore button prompts, spin the camera or perform actions with a delay. Got the PS4 a couple of days ago. Was going to get the Switch but decided to pass on it for now considering it has no games (even announced) that really interest me and PS4 already has a big base of games.

I also got Gravity Rush 1 and 2, Yakuza 0 and just got a digital version of Nioh. I also have Uncharted 1-3 + 4 since it was with my console as a bundle.

My only regret is that BB felt too short but that's probably because I had so much fucking fun playing it.

Currently playing Gravity Rush Remastered and flying around feels very good. I'm enjoying it quite a lot, though some challenges make me rage. The spiders are super annoying. They come hopping at you in swarms, spitting webs everywhere that slow you down and drain your heal constantly. Plus they just keep coming until you fight your way past them and destroy the nest entrances they are pouring out of in droves.

Firing a rocket into a mass of them, hearing their death cries, and watching their bodies going tumbling through the air is immensely satisfying though.

Man god eater 2 is confusing. So many gameplay mechanics and stats/items thrown at you all at once. It's like witch and the hundred knight, they just pile it on. I'm going to end up forgetting to do a bunch of shit and find myself halfway through the game without every doing upgrades or something.

The world is easily my favorite thing about the game. It feels and looks absolutely massive and trekking around always keeps you wondering what you'll come across next. The protag being female doesn't bother me like I know it does a lot of other folks. The main problem is the writing and how absolutely SJW it is at times. Now here the thing, I've kinda been dragged into the switch hype.

I never got the Wiiu cause fuck that, but I did miss a few games, namely Mario Kart and Smash. The groundwork is there for a great game, but it is noticeably unfinished, especially the last few chapters. From what it sounds like they are putting a lot of work into patches though. I would suggest holding off another 6 months and see what they do with that. I kind of regret playing it on release desu.

It's not really accurate to say the game we have today was in development for 10 years. It had a fractured development cycle to say the least. I think they may have even started over from scratch at one point. Multiple staff changes, lack of funding, staff getting pulled to work on other games and so on.

I think they finally got to a point where the game was looking good and another 6 months of polish would make for a extremely good title, but the suits at square were sick of this 10 year game and as soon as they saw something they could shit out onto the market they forced it.

It's kind of like dark souls 2, the final devs did the best with the time and resources they had, it's not their fault. it's the upper managements fault for dicking around.

Yeah with the ME multiplayer beta being cancelled recently I'm gonna hold off on getting the game. Seems like a red flag. Was to be my first in the series.

Like before, 1.5+2.5 was to be my first in the series as well. Don't know if 2.8 was something I'd get or if it's important enough to even get it.

Yakuza seems interesting enough to get sucked into, I won't be going back to play the older ones as I only have the PS4, so it would be 0 and whatever comes out down the line. 6 I believe?

HZD wasn't something I was super excited for, just something I'd get whenever, but multiple people on my friends list are completely in love with the game and told me it's great when I messaged them asking how good it was.

Persona is something I have to give a try at, well all the games above I feel I should at least once and see what sticks and what doesn't. I played Q on the 3DS and thought it was OK. Persona fans call that an abomination and mistake (much like my life) but for an OK game, the main entries must be really good.

I understand the not having enough time problem like you bro. I suppose we always have the summer lull to catch up on a lot of stuff, and pray not super amazing games come out.

That said, talking about this, only Nier and Persona are #1s on my list with HZD behind those. I'll wait on reactions of Mass Effect and Toukiden, and get the other games sometime later.

The kh remakes are going to be my first time really playing through the series too. I used to play then at a friend's house on ps2, so I never got the whole story down.

Not sure why he said 1 is better than 2, I think most would agree it isn't. 1 is cool in its own right, but 2 basically adds a ton to the concept and is a much bigger and more fleshed out game.

That said you really should've played 1 first, the story in 2 is a rather direct sequel. I guess it's enjoyable without that, but still, they're both worth playing.
