I cleared all of normal to unlock underground, then did secrets and hard mode islands when gacha is being shit.
You should have done up to island 5 and 6 at least, pretty sure those give ex-slabs and weapon synthesis. The island 5 stage 9-2 is just as fast on normal, but doesn't give as much exp.

May depend on where and how you use it. Amina can slot CT+2, which is generally more useful to essential for a mover. Most non-Mizell-people just run Kraken on Shinen or others for easier accessability.

So I figured I ought to farm up copies of Amina OII to max out since the exp event is going on right now. I don't know if I'm just on a lucky streak or MW had the grace to severely reduce the Metal drop rate in the 80/100 luck chests. I want to try playing Terra Battle on it but it keeps crashing. I tried increasing the memory to 2048 but that just crashes MEmu instead of the app. My computer doesn't support hardware virtualization so CPU is stuck at 1.

5 new 2 slot runesets that provide small stat boosts to the whole party. Fusion units of 3* and below are all now farmable from SD. Rune drop change; scenarios drop up to 5*, B10 of dungeons now drop only 5* and 6*.

Entirely new crafting system. Get material drops from scenarios and dungeons. Half the unknown scroll drop rate changed to runecrafting materials, you get up to 12 US every time you do get them though. Runecrafting is basically consolation prize for a bunch of bad rune dungeon runs by burning materials to roll for runes. Craft various useless pretty buildings, and another crystal drop building. Also craft homunculus, entirely new nat 5.

HoH changed, is now a 10-level dungeon. Clear a level, it locks and the next level unlocks, drops 25 pieces per level clear. Better for newer players cause the lower levels are really easy so they can get at least 1 summon out of it, bad for people like me who play vidya all weekend and can have the phone farm the whole time.

Bunch of small quality of life and UI improvements. Still no fucking crit camera disable.

Well, speed is king and violent is better speed over time than the runeset that outright gives speed. Yeah, violent is still meta for most situations.

Low level arena still in the works. Face to face fights is out and is called Real Time Arena, separate mode from regular arena. Game picks you or your opponent to go first, eg you go first. You pick 1 unit from your roster, that unit cannot be picked by your opponent if he has the same unit. He picks 2, same thing happens to you. Then you pick 2, then he picks 2, then you pick your last 2, and he picks his last 1 for a total of 5 each. Then you each pick 1 from each other's selected units to kick it out of the team. Then you each select a unit from your remaining team members to be leader, and the fight begins. After a set number of turns have passed, everyone gets something like 10% max HP decrease and 10% atk increase to really fuck up sustain teams.

RTA isn't very fun IMO. The mind games are fun though, I'll give it that. They tried to draw interest with a RTA event that gave special cosmetic auras you could equip on anybody. Everyone either just continued to ignore the mode or grinded RTA just enough to get the nice sparking electric current aura that looks amazing on the Ifrits. Then they dropped the mode too.

Valvraine is someone you can get from the coin machine though, so you can actually complete the coin machine when you pull enough from it to boost everyones skillboost up to 100% that will also give you great characters like Sheena, Suoh, Camellia, Seiryu and Seiryu^. To get a lot of money you can just run the coin dungeons a lot on the weekends or when they are on the challenges for half stamina cost like they are right now, that or run the xp dungeons and evolve the metal minions up to Metal Minion ^^ and vendor him for 20k

rolling in GBF and I'm already puking at the thought of playing it again.

after playing all my matches its amazing how unbalanced for arena starly girls is. it was clearly intended to be a pve game. the most common girl in the game has a skill thats endure from pokemon. no matter what you survive with one hp. the only way to die is get hit by a combo which wont happen cause you are facing a computer controlling somebodys team and the cpu is retarded. your special skill takes approximately 25 seconds to charge up maybe a little slower or faster since attacking or getting speeds up the charge.at rank1 it lasts 8 seconds, at rank4 the endure skill lasts 20 seconds. you can get into an infinite loop where you are immortal and endure is constantly up provided you live long enough to charge it.

if you think will that means everybody will use best girl you forget the defending team is controlled by a cpu. just cause shes in the team doesn't mean that skill will get used there's 5 other girls sharing the same charge bar.

attackers have a massive advantage.

so in alchemist the job changes are not exactly direct upgrades always so theres some characters i should just skip the 2nd and wait for 3rd,4th, etc or just focus on 1st forever?

that character is really good if you have good units especially auto attackers so she can sit on meter to use her ability when you need to.

im fairly sure its impossible for dot to kill you it will get you down to 1 hp but it will never outright kill you. somebody has to do the last hit. endure covers the whole team even if your whole team is at 1hp it wont matter cause endure will keep everyone alive. only way you lose if if you cant actually damage the enemy and time out.

Also, does anyone else seem to roll a specific girl excessively? Not even trying or hoping for Anko usually, but I get nearly every Anko, except bedside Anko, whereas Bedside Miki was the last of Miki's that I got. I get a lot of Nozomi, Yuri, and Sakura too, except the ones I wanted.

Difficulty ratings in TB may feel a little random and sadly are exactly that for the most part. A "difficulty: 30" doesn't exactly mean "Bring a party of average Lv 30 and you'll be fine.". The difficulty of the story stages up to CH30 in particular is something that was never really updated. Those ratings were true for "vanilla TB", which didn't know Z-classes, recodes, companions and all that "new" fluff yet. Compared to that, Challenge levels are nowadays pretty much balanced around bringing the good stuff and exploiting whatever weakness or strategy that lies under.

My favorites are Kokomi and Haruka. I haven't rolled either since Maids. Also starting out, sometimes it takes a while before getting someone's first 4-star. Sakura used to be pretty broken usually, to appease Asai-P's powercreep boner, so she could've been a good reroll target at some point but that hasn't been the case recently.

Anyway, I'm still trying to figure out how to trick the desire sensor. Had it working for a while with Shiho but something changed and now I only roll every other card of hers. Other favorites are so rare to the point that I almost don't try to roll for them anymore.

6-2 starts all your units with clock down

6-4 is a solo Kanon stage, you have to solo the entire thing with your Kanon and a Chloe that will be provided to you.

6-5? has Lupine again with Zain and a twin blader guy that will evade all your attacks. Fun times ahead if you get shit hit RNG.

6-8 is solo Chloe

6-10 is your normal team against everyone you fought before in this chapter except Kudan.

The turns bar at the top in alchememe makes me mad

Normally in a strategy/turn based game, the bar doesnt bullshit you and gives it to you straight. This character will act, followed by this one and then that one.
In this game its like 'This character might act but the one after one might take a turn before him or a random character not in here can take a turn because fuck you'.

I mean I understand if a mage casts overdrive and gives an enemy unit a free turn out of nowhere, that's understandable. But when units get turns out of nowhere just because the bar at the top is bullshitting you then that just tilts me and makes me upset at whoever made this shitty useless thing.

Not sure exactly what those are comparing JP to global version, since I never played global. But I'm guessing grade up is the +'s on the characters? They don't have it in JP, but they added runes which add more stats to your chars. And I'm guessing evolving is going from 4* to 5* and etc.? That's still in, but you need to farm evolve mats. You used to need to be 6* to uncap or unlock eq for your characters, but now they added the option to let you do it from 4* and 5*. Just costing a bit more gold and the special 6* evo mat. So it's pretty much like getting the character to 6* in the first place without the hassle of evolving it to 5* then 6* and wasting leveling mats.

How do you farm rubies? The thing with the 7K JP on release was that farming rubies by max lvling 2* was not viable because of the exp changes, also the fusion changes that made getting the few good 6* units and transcending even harder since you actually had to use the gacha instead of just gambling your 3*

I didn't follow how it was later, but not having the stats from +ing units and not overflowing keys were also minor issues, although the changes to the dailies (being able to choose which one to open) was pretty nice

You can't really farm rubies per se like raising 2* monsters for rubies. A lot of the rubies you get are mostly weekly stuff from Arena and World Boss. There's also dailies, special missions and events. I don't know how the lower rating arena is now, but I made it to 3600 rating, which is 380 rubies per week, fairly quick with a shitty team.

You can get 2 key restores per day from the guild with 25 people. 1 with 20. You can also restore keys for 200 honor (or 100 during some events). They also give a bunch during events. I have about 500 key restores saved up now, since I don't really use them unless I want to 6* and uncap a char right away. And now that you don't need to raise a char to 6* to uncap anymore, I don't bother. I just need them to farm the 6* material.

I think they're getting more generous with selector tickets, so that helps circumvent trying to get what you need through the gacha. And on some certain events they'll give out free special units (7K, 4 lords, old lords).
