As long as you can clear normal then you're good. Don't worry about clearing all of elite since you just started. Hit up those story dungeons and get mythril and stamina.

Probably depends on if your team can deal with the trash before the mobs. Synergy would make a difference if you're exceptionally low. But most of the bosses can be taken out by a decent RW, with the higher level ones taking a couple uses. The one you take would depend on the elemental weakness and whether there are multiple targets.

If it's still a problem, just stick with doing normal stuff for now, because the events are mostly for people that are close to done with the normal dungeons.

Doubt it, we've still got Type 0 and People's Choice to go through first, at the very least. Ask again next month so we can tell you why he's not coming then either.

Refia is the best healer in the game until we get 6* Tilith, she's especially good for physical teams and you have two great attackers in Lightning and Chiz (max them both). Get Exdeath maxed out, he's your best mage and he's been very useful in the last two King Mog events (and we're about to get another one which will likely have more magic/lightning weak enemies). Max out Cecil, he's your best tank but he doesn't become useful until he's 6* level 100 (it's worth it though). When WoL gets his 6*, you're gonna want to max and use him. Agrias will also be good in the future.

As for TMs, Chizuru has a great one (I really need a Chizuru for my Gilgamesh) that goes great with her. Cecil's TMR is the best weapon you can get for your Lightning, so that's a priority. Gaffgarion's TMR is an accessory you'll want on pretty much all your physical damage dealers like Chiz and Lightning. Refia benefits greatly from Dualcast, so Ludmille has a great TMR and you have multiple for quick farming. Bear in mind though, Refia will become irrelevant when Tilith upgrades, which will likely be within the next few months. Zidane's the most highly sought after 3* base because of his TMR, nuff said. If you use Xiao, you'll want Snow's TMR and her own. Keep Mercedes, she'll be decent when Tidus comes out if you get her TMR. Guy's TMR is great for tanks like your Cecil. I think that about wraps it up, Bartz can be handy too but I don't think you'll need him with all the other great units you have.

Er, do you actually want to TM farm? That's a fairly solid group, though. Max Exdeath if you want to use him, or at least get him to 6* 80 so he can double meteor. You might want to prioritize Refia first, though. Then maybe Cecil depending on how far in you are.

Welcome to the Realm of Final Fantasy VII!! I created this page in order to provide an extensive guide to FF7. In my opinion, FF7 is not only the greatest RPG, but the greatest game as well. The story was spectacular, the characters were incredible, the gameplay was excellent, and the graphics were stunning.

Sorry if you guys get this question a lot. I am trying to decide on one of the mobile FF games to invest some time (and maybe money if it's good) in.

I read through the OP, and all three looks promising. It seems like Record Keeper is the most money efficient one? MOBIUS is the newest one right? What are some major differences between the three? Online reviews are no help, because it's all opinions, but I trust you guys more.

1) Which one has a story? Which story is better?

2) Which one has good gameplay? Are they all traditional FF turn based gameplay?

3) Finally, in your opinion, which one should I give a go? I don't mind spending some money so long as it's reasonable, if that helps.

Haven't played Mobius, but Record Keeper is probably better as a game in the long run than Exvius. But there is no story, it's just nostalgia. There is also a long period before you can build up a team to be able to do the more interesting boss fights too, but it might be easier to keep your interest. Exvius' story is just kind of there, so although it has one you're not going to get anything great. The other advantage of RK is probably that you roll for weapons that give supers instead of for characters. Exvius can be really frustrating with the rolling because of this.

Since they are all free, just try one for a bit and see what you like. None of them should even make you consider putting money into them for at least a couple months. You might want to try Steam if you try Mobius, since it's apparently murder on your phone battery.

I have only played Record Keeper for a few months before stopping, but to answer your first point, the the only story element in it is used to set the game's premise up. Brave Exvius and Mobius have more involved stories where you, the player, actually drive the narrative.

I only play FFRK.
1) FFRK's story is basically "save the paintings" a la Mario 64, except you're jumping into sections of various FF games. Mobius and BE both have original stories, but I don't know which is better.
2) RK uses an ATB system, and each character can have 2 skills, Attack and Defend. Many staple status effects/elements/etc. are here, so for example, you can Dispel the magus sisters' Reflect and make the little one damage the fat one just like in the real game. BE and Mobius are turn based, but don't use ATB AFAIK. BE is basically Brave Frontier and Mobius is different, but still non-active IIRC.
3) FFRK's worth trying. All the characters are free, and the gacha's for gear - if you got a good weapon/armor for a character you don't have, you can go into one of the menus and unlock the character at will (I did this for Yuffie).

Story.
RK - None to speak of. All of the story is summed up in the first misson. Now play the game goy.

Mobius - Weird pseudo retelling of FF1 with new characters and such. Mildly entertaining at best, but those moments are few and far between.

BE - Ugh. It has a story, unfortunately. It's like something you would see on steam greenlight, but somehow worse.

Gameplay
RK - ATB battles, except you're limited to 2 skills per character plus special limit breaks.

Mobius - Turn based combat where you build up elemental powers and use them to perform your skills in combat.

BE - Turn based combat with your traditional skills by leveling up and such. The combat is all about building a chain to do more damage to the enemy. Generally this results in you nuking the enemy instantly, or being nuked and spamming fullcure/revive on your party over and over.

Having played all three, none of them are particularly engaging. They are mobile games designed to suck your money. Reconsider life if you really feel the need to spend money on them, any of them.

Chances are, if you really know the ins and outs of boss battles in the original games, you'll know exactly what to do in Record Keeper for the most part. That's the one thing I really liked when I used to play it. Though I don't know how true that is now.

Once you get every character and MC, you end up with loads each month since every copy is a greater growth egg, and MC2 are major growth eggs. That and grind events like the orb fest with the anniversary in a month or so can get you a ton of levels.

The bosses can be amazing, but one thing I liked about Exvius is that some of the cameo dungeons not only contain the right trash mobs, but some in the same groups and formations as in the original game. RK tends to be a little lazy with that.

It depends. You can get any character easy in RK, but if you're unlucky you might never pull a relic for them, which makes them a lot less useful. One anon earlier was depressed because he couldn't pull any Agrias relics despite trying on several banners. Only the keeper is an original character in that.

Exvius is random with characters, and the ones you like might suck. If that's the case, there's nothing you can do. It is also loaded with original characters, so it would depend on if you found those interesting or not.

Mobius only has cameo outfits for the most part outside of the non-playable cameos in events, but it's more an original game. So it would depend on whether you like Echo and a couple others I don't really know much about.

Are there any differences in translation for the SNES and PS1 version of FFVI? I've felt like replaying FFVI and have the PS1 version on my Vita but if the translation is worse I might just go back to the SNES version. If they're basically the same I'll just start the PS1 version; I don't mind the load times.

I think both my core white mage and Zack went 65 to 72 in daily ++ dungeons before they unlocked, only to be thrown into my vault forever.
