Not really. Tsubaki is vital in taking out big ward followers while at the same time threatening lethal.
Even if you just drop her without anything to kill, the fact she has ambush is enough to secure the damage most of the time.

Best you can do is place Demonic Strike or something like that to try and finish off your opponent in case they get a ward up, but be aware that it won't be as effective as Tsubaki.

Daria is insanely broken and the only reason tempo rune isn't SS tier is because it's entirely based on whether or not you actually draw Daria. Daria does a ton of things all at once that have all been banned in other card games. She draws you a ton of cards for cheap, gives you a ton of free mana, and then is a cheap big body on her own because she herself has spellboost. Any one of those things would be incredibly powerful; all three at once is so completely over the top I really don't understand what the devs were thinking.
You think Daria is bad now, as more and more spellboost cards are released Daria will just get even stronger. She is without a doubt the most broken card they ever made and is propelling a deck to tier 1 basically all by herself.

Hypee Dari and you lose on 7 just made it irrelevant, with both slowed down i creeped back into a solid tier 2 deck as many other decks did as well. It also has an even matchup vs Rune which is nice since its 30% of the ladder nowadays.

But Magic specifically has Daria/spellboost-like cards. Daria is kind of a combination of these three cards at once, except you have to dump your hand too. Which is literally such an irrelevant drawback because you only play her when your hand sucks or you're out of cards.
Note treasure cruise and black lotus are banned in every format except vintage where you can only run one of each. And Daria gives you way more mana than black lotus could ever dream. Just food for thought.

Devs knew what they were doing. They created a better affinity deck because of Daria's card draw. I don't think it's right to compare it exactly to MTG because it's not the same game, but there's no way they couldn't figure out what sort of deck this would be, unless they somehow forgot what affinity was and then forgot to do any playtesting.

Spellboost is such a broken mechanic, especially in a game with no hand disruption. Rune is one of the least fun decks to play against because, unless they're earth rite, it really feels like it's 100% luck. If they brick you win, if they don't you lose. There's not much else to it.

Because Daria spellboosts 5 you get an insane amount of free mana and it lasts the whole game. You can play your oglers and fate's hands for free after you play Daria. This is probably the single most broken part of the card, because all your new spellboost cards are ready to go. If you hit a Daria with a Daria you basically can't lose.
I considered putting ritual there instead but ritual only lasts a turn. I know it's not exactly the same because you can't use the mana for anything, but it's pretty fucking close. I'm not saying Daria is like lotus, I'm saying casting Daria gives you a bunch of free lotuses
