I'm still working on parrying but the block-shove counter is incredible. Unless you're a shugoki you can't pull off shit on me and it eats so little stamina bad guys run themselves ragged trying to get past it.

I've been using two upper ones of the removable backpaddles in For Honor. First time I've used them in a video game since they felt kinda useless. Mapped left to A (dodge) and right to X(GB). Gotta say, that it improved reaction time on a gamepad significantly.

Too bad its controller software as well as the Ubisoft's gamepad controls are shit, so I can't remap the actual A or X buttons to something else now that I'm using them less.

To be fair, Peacekeeper's kidney stab bleed bug was a necessary fix. One of her moves wasn't working correctly and actively cutting its output by more than half. I can live with that bugfix. I think it's that extra quality-of-life buff she got (extended range so she can now confirm a light off a parry) that just threw people over the top and got them exceptionally mad at her.

It is alright the way it is now considering the super quick zonecancel and quick stab combos. PKs are one of my favourite things to duel as a Warden, right next to Kensei and other Wardens. A lop of pressure and anticipation for that perfect parry that opens things up.

I really wish they'd let you reroll 1-2 quests per thing, I want to wash my hands of skirmish forever now that it's not intruding on elimination matchmaking anymore.

A stealth mission where you can't actually break stealth since the whole army is partying.

This gives you unlimited time to focus on targets and learn how to fight different heros as keeper (what I think the entire solo game should be about). Add onto that the fact that Mercy trashes said army on her own showing how the heros you play as are worth entire squads makes this my favorite mission in the whole game.

I guess that's the issue for me, I can't reliably parry Conqs and, so far, I've always made the mistake of going for a heavy if I do manage a parry. They always manage to block those in time. Chipping away at them seems to be the only thing that works.

I can see why. A large chunk of Kensei's overall gameplan revolves around his chains, and shieldbearers stop chains dead with their superior block against lights. His chain attacks are good when they can get through, and he has exceptional range, but he doesn't have any significant standalone attacks that let him do things like get around shields.

im not quite on board with the whole LB loses every 1v1 match ever shit. It feels like this game is pretty matchup based, and the guys who do legitimately blow LB up seem to be the shieldbearers (too much is on the LB to dodge and punish or just read the shit out of them), against literally every assassin I have no fear at all.

Nobushi, which a lot of people have stated is a bad matchup feels like the best one, since she is so easily bullied by block > shove, PK can admittedly be tough provided shes feinting her ass off and whiffing lights, but again another very easy to bully character if they ever make contact. Orochis tend to leave after I beat them a single round but my winrate against them is really consistent.

Of everyone, Shugoki gives me by far the most trouble due to how his super armor works (you have to trade a hit to get rid of armor almost every time), though I haven't had a chance to fight many strong Shugokis.

But hey that's my 2 cents, and I know posting my winrate isn't going to convince anyone (lord knows I spent a lot of that just wailing on scrubs).
