It's a cool fight. Even its really gimped Ifrit charge was kinda okay, and its add phase. Like, I like the fight, but you can tell they didn't tune it for 24-man. I don't see how it is possible to wipe on it, I WISH I got to see Supernova go off, but the DPS checks are all too easy. As an 8-man trial, that would have been a really, really amazing fight

Uh, you're gonna like Proto Ultima even less then because that's gonna happen when he jumps to double Flare Star and Ifrit charge. Like, don't get me wrong, I really like the fight but as a 24-man encounter he is less of a threat and more of a speedbump than the succubus. He's an 8-man trial in a 24-man raid, so his DPS checks are easy as sin despite being cool, and his fight lasts longer than it should because of his invulnerability before the adds even factor in. The later invulnerability isn't an issue because you just DPS the adds and he melts afterwards, but he jumps, then jumps and flare stars twice then dashes and that's about 30 seconds of you waiting for him to return

I've come across a problem recently, and I'm wondering if anyone else has a fix for this since DX11 is going to be the main in Stormblood. With DX9 I can tab out freely and my game never crashes, but when I switch to DX11 I'm unable to do so. Can anyone help?

This is my first main Final Fantasy title.

I played Crystal Chronicles and Tactics, but didn't really get involved in lore or all that, so anything that comes up in XIV that's a "reference" to an older game is usually lost on me. It's a tiny bit frustrating that I can't enjoy the hype my friends have when such a reference occurs, but at the same time it's a blessing because I get to experience it all with a very fresh mind. The best example I can think of is seeing the Knights of the Round limit break for the first time. Very cool experience.

Ultima is just chilling in DS. Dies in 1 minute. Its a weekly you just do for some goblin for some reason for BiS gear. Zhloe is the only NPC you turn stuff in for, probably until 4.0 if they dont scrap it entirely. Revamped Diadem might be something to do, but chances are they'll make it just as awkward to get into as it was before. Anyone who says "W-well good riddance" shit has no standards.

Played at least some of 1, 2, 10/10-2 and 12. and completed 3-9, and enjoyed XI a good deal, even if the best I could managed was a below par PLD in terms of gear. For whatever reason, my favorite was FFIII, I enjoyed how straightforward and simple its approach was, and perhaps how broken it could get if you knew how to fuck with item duplication. I enjoyed the DS version, even if I could never get the mail system to work for me to unlock the cool shit, and the introduction of crystal tower in 2.0 made me incredibly happy. That there's rumors that Eureka will be making an appearance in Stormblood is something to look forward to as well.

I do wish we get a proper Viking class some day, a hammer wielding tank would be neat, but from the viking mammets we've seen in anti-tower and gubal hard, they'd probably just be one handed axes and shields
