Yes, CFW's have sigpatching, and then there is a separate app that just applies signature patches.

Sigpatching is shorthand for Signature patches - this is system level thing utilizing IOSU security exploit to make the system security module forget enforcing valid signatures for everything. This enables one to install invalidly signed content, and run invalidly signed content, as Wii U enforces signature validation on installation and every time you run things.

This is useful on many fronts as even modifying game content on your USB would invalidate the signature.


Usually all updates come with legit ticket file that has universally valid signature for all consoles, much like all Wii U discs have such a ticket that is universally valid to same effect. DLC and download only content is signed to the console it was downloaded to speicifically so once extracted from that console the ticket does not work for anyone else - unless they are using signature patching.

Wii U CFW is unloaded when you shut down the system - you have to run CFW/Sigpatches every time you have shut down and booted the system back up.

If you downloaded the game off the google drive you probably have some corrupt files.

You need multipar (google) or something like it and this file here

1. Download the fucking game files (258 files)
2. Download the .tik file and rename it to title.tik (be sure you have extensions enabled or you can fuck up and rename it to title.tik.tik if extensions are hidden)
3. Place the title.tik files in the game folder (you should now have 259 files according to math)
4. Download the update (I got the one from MEGA)
5. On your SD card you need to have a folder called 'install' where you will place the game folder and the update folder (name those 2 folders however the fuck you want)
6. Insert the SD card into the Wii U
7. Run a CFW (Mocha doesn't require anything special to set up so use it if you don't have one)
8. Run homebrew channel -> wup installer mod y -> install both folders (game and update folder in this order)
9. Start the game and have fun
