So how grindy is NO compared to the first Digimon World game? I remembered the last time I replayed DW I managed to beat the story before my second Digimon died of old age again.

I just started playing a few hours ago, trained my digimon and they evolved to black agumon and gabumon and then both evolved to saberdramon, but then both died of old age just as I entered the volcano area looking for Taomon.

Yeah, Viruses seem to have the monopoly on pierce moves. Before the update, it was even more skewered, since only Wargreymon (and Lucemon, except hes a rookie) were Vacine Piercers, while Plesiomon was the only Data type to my knowledge. With the update we get Chaosmon for Vaccines, but his sucks ass, since it runs of his abysmal int, while Data gets Rosemon BM. Fun times
