Belica tears through Muriel, Countess, Shinbi, Gideon and pretty much any caster with high mana and casting dependancy.

People who don't main Belica are noticeabley garbage and won't bother playing her.

They took our early game from us, and now Aurora, Gideon, Gadget, Dekker, and other heroes can rest easy until late game if Belicas team even makes it there. I do the Windarver too.
Sorcerers ward gives ability pen and lifesteal. You can just stack the ability pen you get from shadow scroll there.
Venom Shell and Thorned Greenweave x3/4/5 gives free armor stats and 12 power upgrade bonus.
I go full power upgrades and walk around with 200+ power late game. That's a 500 Q and 400 rmb 1k~ ult
There's also other cards that give armor as the bonus instead of power, maybe if you think you'll need some you can build those.

Anybody got tips for Countess off-lane? Just played a game where she did a shit ton of damage before the enemy could cc her out of the kill, it was pretty crazy.
I learned another aspect of team composition too, besides picking for your roles and for cc, I was the only melee/non-assassin hero as Grux leaving the enemy to focus me most of the time.
I had 70 points of both armor on but would melt like butter in front of the enemy team who had very heavy cc heroes all around. I would've done better if I picked a better front-line hero like Rampage.

Rough. Positioning is really important, yeah, but there's not much you can do when they focus you.
As for Countess, I'd say ignore the six Shadow Scroll meme and build Staffs (Staves?) of Adamant for damage and incidental mana, with one or two shadow scrolls dividing up your Ability Pen distribution. Offlane, start with a Healer Token and Mana Potion, and unlock your Siphon/ heal ability first for early sustain, then focus on Dark Tide. Shadow Slip isn't too important until after you get your ult, really, since a good gank will cc the enemy. Don'[t be in the enemy's face: farm under tower and pop out to smack the support if you can dodge the Carry, that'll bring the minions into your tower which helps keep on top of them. Attack the Carry as soon as they come into your tower: it scares them out and draws minion aggro from the tower, which you heal with the Token and Siphon. Get someone to cover for you when you have 2CXP so you can pick up 2 more Mana Potions/ Shaman's Drink, then again for a ward. If you can hold out until around level 5 and your jungler is rotating to help, you should be able to keep them out of tower until you just want to let them take it to free you up.

Movement ability > Does it increase speed or Blink? > cooldown

The only other game I've played extensively is Dota and some examples of abilities from that game that really makes you think are these.

Cast ethereal form on target or self > Target is heavily slowed but can't take melee damage but takes bonus magic damage > cooldown

You can use it to slow an enemy in a chase so you can gang bang. You can use it to increase your damage if you are a caster. Can be used as protection if you are getting chased and opponent abilities are on cooldown or they are melee oriented like khaimera.

Cast living armor on self or ally globally (non ult) > Buff regens health over time and applies X stacks of 'living armor' which prevent X amount of any form of damage (regen, x scales with skill level) and can be cast on towers to repair. Losing all stacks instantly removes the regen buff. > cool down

You can use it to protect towers since this is an objective you want to protect. Can support globally so it's a strong anti gank ability. Very weak against abilities that deal DoT since it blocks all forms of damage. Someone like iggy with his flamer thrower or grux bleed would instantly nullify the ability making DoT have more value in game.

Cast nightmare on self, ally, or enemy > Causes target to fall asleep while taking a very small amount of DoT. Very long sleep (4 seconds) but any form of damage will wake up the target. Ability damage simply wakes up hero but melee damage transfer the sleep to the person who attacked and resets the sleep duration, enemy or ally. > cooldown

Can be used to hold down a target when chasing or to take them out of a team fight. Can be used defensively by casting on self when someone is about to attack to put yourself on stasis until allies arrive or pass time for cooldowns.

They aren't good enough to use his infinite mana/anti stun shield. They don't know how to use his blast to push enemies away or to prevent them from escaping. They don't have the mana management skills to know when to use his slow and have enough mana for his ult. Is crit Aurora good? Been playing her with some light armor and health with straight power and some attack speed, mana regen and a 10% cool-down reduction so I can spam her abilities like a madman. I've played with a couple god-like Kallari players and even some decent ones aren't so bad
Generally not my favorite choice for jungle on my team but it's better than seeing Shinbi or Feng Mao. Not that Feng Mao is a bad jungle either but he has very little cc and I love having jungle players with lots of it, especially Khaimera.
I ended up going into my next game with Aurora, who I'm taking a really big liking to her even though I wasn't interested in her during her release. I went 5-0 and thanks to my team too, I could've died once when I saw the enemy team was gathering on my side to jump me but with all of Aurora's escapes, I bought myself time to avoid my team + their Kallari. It was just good plays all around, none of my kills felt cheap either, I had to work to get em too, hopefully they don't nerf her ice circle ability too much because it takes a bit of skill to catch an enemy who knows to avoid it.

As a main Greystone, I can confirm this. I've stopped playing him because you can hardly basic attack enemies and you contribute almost nothing but armor to your team being a tank. What hurts him the most is his cc - he has none of it. I don't really give out salt besides saying "awful" in the team chat after a bad game but every time I see another Greystone on my team, they're almost always bitter, especially after a death.
