Unless you're just using her for a DPS booster while using naramon invis melee, at which point there are other frames that can do it better anyway. Like Volt, who has the same attack speed buff but also buffs movespeed.

IMO it's worth it on any frame that isn't nidus, because slash and toxin are things, as is the occasional knockdown amongst high level enemies, and health orbs aren't super reliable.
I might be super wrong, I don't know. But I'd rather be alive dealing damage/applying CC than downed or dead because of a wayward status effect.
Also, I just use zenurik rather than energize. If the nerf focus I might change my view real fast.

You got the basics right but here's what's wrong -

Going viral with the Primed cryo rounds is plenty of damage. Just using cold, not so much. All weapons should have at least one elemental combo.

It's only worth a slot if it's maxed or one below it. You'd get more damage from another element.

Also I personally dislike the accuracy loss - my build has no HCal and bladed rounds in it's place.

I do like Shred though but a lot of people seem to think you might as well use Heavy Cal instead on Soma Prime. I guess you can keep the option open.

its been a few months since I tried to seriously use Valkyr. Saw some posts arguing about how to build her. My 2 cents, her issue is Energy. Back when T4 Survival Keys were a thing the problem I kept running into was Nullifiers. After about 40 minutes in she had to stay in Hysteria because even with Full armor and health she couldnt survive with Warcry alone. And her damage in Hysteria started to fall off as reaching higher melee combos became infeasible. A Nullifier would show up and the hit detection on the shield was horse shit so inevitably the nullifier would step forward, drop valkyr out of Hysteria, and she would die from a Sniper shot or a Stray bombard round. And if she didnt die, by the time the Nullifier was dead and it was time to recast abilities, the game rarely dropped enough energy and her powers were to wasteful that you might not have enough to cast. Though being out of hysteria also meant becoming a victim to Eximus Auras, so if you had energy before you wont in a few seconds.

beyond 40 minutes, the gameplay was tiresome, made worse knowing it would be even harder fighting for kills with a team, that if I lost my Combo i might as well start over. And without some form of Ev Trinity she has to scrounge around for energy.

tl;dr: her powers are a waste of energy and her powers are all about her. A team would need to focus on supporting valkyr, since if they worked together and got in the way of valkyrs kills... she would be useless. wasteful, selfish, team of support slaves. surprised she isnt /wfg/s favorite.

The status can increase TTK against heavily armored targets but it's a shit gun for stripping armor and you're just wasting time and ammo. 90% elements are the way to go also, even if you want to keep the justice mod on for status. That mod by itself is worth all your dual stats.

The exponential scaling is still there even if 'post DEAC content' is readily available. Take bosses for example, yes all of them can be dealt with at level 100 with armor/shield augments in sorties but just look at the sample size of how many weapons and frames are actually functional at that level. it's a range that most players don't experience and DE even less so since most of them don't actually play.

Lesion with that heal from status mod. Installed hp and armor mods, so you got around 1400 armor by default, not even including bonus from warcry. Stun on 3. Shitload of aspd. All of that makes valkyr nearly immortal even without ult.

I sold 6 volt sets for 100p and 1 for 150p. I got 3 left and no regrets. Volt was dirt cheap so I never bothered selling my sets. Nova Prime goes for 200p on a good day with 1 rare.
