Did research about this issue online. Found about 5 forum posts about people having the same problem, and all have reported it up to two months ago.

If you get your agility experience cap of 800,000xp in the Empty Throne Room you, for no particular reason, are unable to get experience for depositing the crystals themselves through mining.

This means I'm losing 560xp per fucking inventory. Thanks Jagex.

It's not that the skills are hated, it's that their mechanics have been largely unaltered since Runescape Classic. Smithing's problem is that aside from high-level gear repair, the maximum stuff you can make from ore that can be mined is only T50 despite requiring a very high smithing level to make.

It doesn't help you need both a runite ore and 8 pieces of coal. Or the fact that rocks take forever to respawn and only yield a single piece of ore.

It's a bit of a weird spot in my opinion. The long term difference between ~60 and 99 smithing might add up, but most of the people that struggle with money in the first place will probably just use non degradable armour like GWD1 instead. Those who can afford 99 smithing will likely also have the money for 80 crafting and the tenacity to get 80 divination. If that's the case they unlock invention which in turn more or less eliminates the repair cost aspect of most equipment pieces.

Doing AOD in a competent group seems really fun and appears to be easy money (at least compared to when I did it during the first week it was out) but I think I've missed my chances

Whereas AoD you'll get an 80m codex split every 40 kills or so, and a 250m wand and 60m orb split every 200 or so, plus the normal drops bring it up to maybe 4m/kill. There's too much downtime to get 10 kills/hour in any group I've been in even when we're getting sub 6 on the kill timer which is pretty rare.

Seems unlucky based on my own and my contacts' standards then. But yeah, one of the reasons I streaked from 0 was because of the additional loot. Even in smaller streaks it really does make a difference in overall loot considering 0 to 100 only takes like an hour depending on how much effort you're willing to put into it. I just stopped doing Telos because I've already made more money than I need and because I find it boring to slave through lower enrages only to die to some stupid mistake later on
